Love the game but it needs a few tweaks. Out of Bounds kills the vibe of the game imo. It should be more like Rocket League where the balls bounces off barriers (magic ones in this case )to keep it in play.
Make it 5 minutes instead of 10. 10 is a ridiculous amount of time to play for the rewards you get. I really only play it once on a few characters to get the first ball and I can't imagine people enjoy the length of these matches.

The reward is a bit on the low side but matches can be real fun. As the OP says having the ball bounce instead of going out-of-bounds would make the game much better.

The ball game can be fun if you play with friends and communicating using something like teamspeak. Even better if all 10 players on the field are friends. In that case, the time flies and 10 minutes will not feel long because it is not about reward.

You have to bear in mind that it is traditional 5-a-side Football but played to American Football rules, i.e. the game has to stop for 30 secs every 15 seconds to allow room for the commercial breaks
I'm sorry but this game is a complete miss to me. I feel my life slipping away moment by moment in 10 min chunks. The out of bounds thing is a stinker for sure...you spend 8 of those 10 minutes resetting from out of bounds,
The only one that gets a "volly" out of it is the player on the key forward slot, they get to the ball and kick it (often 1 shot to net) before any other player can "volly" it. The "volly" is the key reason a single player would even que a pvpve event..if they get 0 volley out of it, the only other "reward" is the supposed "tickets", as far as i can see that's arbirary. I got 3 copper tickets for a low score game and zero for a high score game. For a tie "fireworks"..yeh not ticket? I feel like celebrating by shooting rockets...not.
When a key slot player doesn't manage a one shot to net, then the cluster F starts. since the key player can see the ball and others most often not, he gets to it first and follow up with second volley, if lucky they get a good bounce into the net, if not yup...out of bounds. if the opposing team does manage to get to it first 1/2 the time its a bad bounce and yup...out of bounds. If it bounces good its down field to repeat the process at the other end.
Irregardless of what goes on, it is nearly a solo on solo game of the key slot players..not much for a "team" game. The way it bounces there is no reason for a player to be a goalie, Nor would there be a reward to even try, especially since they get no volly out of it or tickets. Any other roll but a key slot or goalie (which has minimal chance to block) is just a out of bounds machine.
What could be done to maybe salvage this HAMSTER? Make "volly" team achieved. If you are key slot and you get the volly your team gets a tick as well, this would encourage team to play roles: goalie, wing, flank etc. Take away the single shot to net and random bounces. Make the team work the ball down to the net with passes and targeted shots....far less out of bounds if random bounces were out. Especially if the magic bounce wall they mentioned was in.
Rewards! the arbitrary tickets etc is a stinker. 3 tickets per point to winning team, 1 tickets per point to loser, 2 tickets per point for ties would be about right....lock it in. Not the infamous RNG of cryptic
Far less reset time after a score....my life is slipping away on resets from out of bounds, don't do it from after scores.
I see chat flooded with LFG for pre-made matches....if you allow that it's what kills PVP! Why would you repeat a game killer in a festival? Celebration is what you are going for, not pvp grief-fest! No pre-made! If you MUST, then make it a seperate match instance for pre-made vs. pre-made.
All I want is to earn some copper tickets so I can get a few of the fashion items offered.
I’ve played so many games of sahha since the event began and I’ve only earned eight copper tickets thus far.
Like the others have said: Ten minutes is too long per match and most of the time in a match is spent waiting for the positions to reset after the ball has gone out of bounds.
Also, it can get very difficult to keep track of where the ball is. Especially if you’re trying to be the goalie.
I somehow earned one silver ticket, is there some way to trade it for copper tickets?
Is there any way to earn copper tickets other than sahha?

IMO, the only fun for this game is pre-made. Hence, it should always pre-made vs pre-made. Unlike PVP, there is no huge item level difference, experience level difference, etc. Sure, some has more skill than others but it still not in the level of PVP. Also, pre-made can queue faster.

Are you folks getting into the sahha parties where you just volley the ball and get tickets? You don't need to play the game to get tickets. That is actually a bad way to get them.
If you don't like the game don't play it it is not mandatory for anything.
I do like the idea of magic walls making it that there is no out of bounds though. It would be like indoor soccer.

Yes, the game is not the place to farm for a lot of tickets.

The ball should not go out of bound at the at the "camp" sides at least it should bounce, plus the time is too long, 5 min would be good more than that it get boring...
so atm is a looong actity and the most time you spend on reset timer...

I haven't been able to find any, and even if I did I'm afraid I'd accidentally kick the ball somewhere we couldn't follow it.
Also, the problem is that getting copper tickets is too complicated and difficult and sahha parties don't really solve it.

My friend you just need some knowledge. Find a spot were the ball does not have anywhere to go. Many people use under the bridges at the summer fest map, but you can do it anywhere in game. Also my guild mate but up a place in the foundry called Sahha field. It is currently in the review area. Then when someone starts the ball everyone else just hits there at will and keeps the ball in play. The tickets rain down on everyone. Everyone in the party takes turns starting a ball. The more volleys you do during the event the better the chances for tickets.
Hope this helps. If you still need help hit me up. @cattman35 in game.
The only good thing about this game, is the ball going out of bounds. It's all one can do while "playing" against a team with all Sahha abilities unlocked, while your team mates and you only have the volley to play. Add to that full pre-made guild teams, and i bet you can imagine the "fun" being had in such seal clubbing games... Why do the Devs keep making the same mistakes when it comes to PvP over and over again?

Yes, craft a ticket-ball every day & join a group to volley under a bridge. 15-45 coppers every time.

The difference is the additional skills you can buy, specifically the check skill. This wrecks a match. between that skill & purposely driving a ball out of bounds, there is no competition.

How hard for one to acquire the 'missing' skills?

Thank you, but that still doesn’t solve the problem.
Playing sahha only gets you a chance to win copper tickets.
If you win silver tickets there’s no way to convert them to copper tickets.
I can go to the Zen market and purchase blessings of Sune directly, but I can only purchase a CHANCE to earn copper tickets instead of just purchasing copper tickets directly.
Not to belabor a point, but this whole system is too complicated and that makes it unsatisfying and exasperating.

They have to be purchased with copper tickets, so purchasing the skills is as easy or hard as it is to earn copper tickets.
He was not talking about playing sahha tournament. He was talking about playing volley with a group. You don't even have to have the ball if the party (although unlikely) allows you to join.

I can’t just play sahha or purchase copper tickets.
I have to purchase a ticket ball (or do a quest for a free one), then find several people who want to kick the ball around, then kick the ball around, then collect the items the ticket ball drops.
There are so many steps to go through and the reward is too small to make them worth it.

It's not hard at all. You just have to give up 5 favors. Since I don't know whether I'll be able to afford it until then... it doesn't really make the game more playable this year. I guess you've never run into one of the troll-mades that surrounds the chest @ the end & checks anyone from the other team that tries to collect their "rewards."
I have to agree with everybody... you are complaining about something that really is not complainable about... get in a group.. it's not hard.. ppl are constantly spamming chat for group kickers... gather under a bridge and kick the HAMSTER out of your daily free ball.. let others kick theirs.. run around and pick up tickets.. they drop like rain... even some silver and higher.. I've litteally picked up 50+ coppers in one round of volleys. . Even more if you get in group kicking multi balls. .. it really sounds like you want your prize, but not willing to put forth the effort to get it

Plus, earlier today I tried to use a healing potion and accidentally wasted my sahha ticket ball because I was too busy fighting to kick it around.
I never saw where it went, so I couldn’t find it to kick it around when the enemies were gone.
