Was that obtainable before the campaign? I was not level 70 when this was taken... I was just on the Stronghold map. I was new to the game, and did not know anything about using gear for transmutes, but I remember liking this helm and glad I found an old screen shot of it.

The lower level drops are often the best looking - we go back and run through those areas to grab lowbie gear to see what looks best for transmutes. I would assume it was before helm's hold and pirate's skyhold - so run around in the areas before that to see if you pick one up that looks like it. I'd check neverdeath and ebon downs - a lot of the good looking stuff is in those two areas

I don't know if it works in Console, but in PC you can preview gear from the Auction House search results. I agree that most higher level gear looks awful and end up buying low level items for transmutes.

It's hard to tell from the angle. If the spiked cowl is part of it, I would say it is form the Rothe Valley/Temple of the Spider set. If the hood covers the upper face, with a red & white eye over the forehead, it is from the Chasm of madness. I had, and liked both & was sad to see them go

The spiked cowl was the part I liked about it the most.... don't think it had red and white though, looks blue/grey and gold, but it does cover the forehead and drops over the eyes I think.

Go to your dread legion campaign window and go to the store, then preview the gear from there.
