we are a small guild of friends looking to join an alliance so we can grow and experience more of the game.

Just out of curiousity when you say small how many members are we talking about (5 or 50)?
In most cases for alliance leaders to gauge if you would be a good fit they typically like to know a few things such as:
-Guild Level.
-Number of total members.
-Average number of members on at any given time.
-What timezone are players predominantly in and peak playtime.
-Average character item level.
-Age demographic (ie; any, 18+, 21+, etc).
-What you're looking for in an alliance and what you brinto the table.
That info will help you get a few more hits
