Quest Path has disappeared

Every once in a while I am losing the quest path and I think It is a graphics isue for example when that happens the fire from the demon sled, the animation of the daring shout an many more animations do not appear like the most important one the path. Most of the times the path is still showing on the minimap but the only temp fix i found is restarting the game and some times the console too. A friend had an issue that he had lost the path of one of his characters for several weeks not even on the minimap and it magicaly came back to him yesterday.
The quest path and various animations I have mentioned are happening when doing random quests. I dont have to force a wuest to dissapear it can happen at any given time and only by restarting the game the path appears again. It has nothing to do with forcing a quest ir not. If that can hep, you know that the glittering path is consisted of yellow and blue dots/sparkles, some times the yellow sparkles dissapear and you can barely see the blue and some other times the blue sparkles disappear too. But the minimap is showing the path so you can navigate through there if you cant restart the game for a while. The demon sled and the encounters animations that are missing at the same time are examples that iccur at the same time with the lack of the path and I mentioned that in order to clarify that it is the problem may not lay upon the path actually but it is a graphics glitch/bug that makes the yellow or blue animations not to display.
This is a common problem amongst many players i have encountered and discussed.
