Mirage set complaint

Too many times have I been told about just "standing around" and/or "not participating" in battle. Well, it's not me standing around, it's my companion (mainly my augment) that's been turned into a clone of me due to Mirage Set. Today, (I think) I got booted from ETOS for because of it. There was no other reason to be booted. I normally take 1st or 2nd in dps so that's not the issue. Had zero downs. 3460 cw, plenty ETOS runs under my belt. This needs to get changed, at least for augments. It's funny..., but it's not.

    Will be getting relic set ASAP, btw. Back to farming SOMI, etc. That's my solution for the problem, anyhow.

    If someone is paying that much attention to you, they probably are the one needing to be kicked. Honestly, if half my party appeared to be doing nothing but we were still progressing, I wouldn't even notice.

    Something i don't understand is as a dps why you went for mirage set instead of aboleth ?
    Good luck to you if you go for relics set but just know, imho, relics are way other rated...

    I did my 1st mva yesterday as 3300 dps SW with aboleth set and 29% frost resist, all the others players were other 3800 gs.
    I was 4th 1st run and 3rd second run, i didn't die second run.
    Plus we will get soon 30% free frost resist for all, so going throught all the grind and money pain for relics for 10% more damage vs 4% more damage is really hardcore...

    Thats prob becuase its broken and procs feats you dont even have points invested in making it very good at increasing dps

    Why does the mirage set nerf my companion? It locks out 2 of it equipment slots and says they will unlock at rank 15, this decreases the bonus I get from my bonding runestones, also my dragon born mirage have no heads.....

    All the higher end weapons work fine. Problem is players not understanding how things work.

    What I'm trying to figure out is how is the companion impacting a Mirage weapon?

    I originally got mirage set for pvp and also because it's the easiest set to get to be able to do more DPS in River District and MSPC, again keeping SOMI weapons as the ultimate goal in mind. Didn't quite work as good as I thought it might for pvp but my pve DPS increased as intended. The new patch today should alleviate that problem I had with companion issue.

    It is fun watching lower gs level 70 players scramble to kill my clones. >:)
