latest lockboxes quite a laugh

Had to laugh a bit at the latest lockboxes and the epic RnG within a RnG.. holy HAMSTER someone must of got a pay rise for coming up with that one.
so your drop rate was 0.000005% and now its 0.00000000000001% best rip i have seen implemented in a game in quite a while, yet most other game companies respect their player base enough to balance out the cash grabbing with fairness in the rewards.
something cryptic and Pwe need to learn.

    I have gotten nothing but cavalry mount boxes since the new lock box dropped good for 30-35k and that's about it.

    And yet, the admin spam from the best drops keeps coming.

    The issue is, it's not just a cash grab. Keys can be bought with AD and they have to balance it out. They aren't just selling the keys for $1.25...they are selling them for 62,500 AD or less. I'll spend 60k AD on a whim, but I'm less willing to spend $1.25 (yea, I'm a cheapo).

    Keep in mind, there are people with more AD on their account than you can possible imagine. Meaning, maxed AD on each of their toons, each toon with guild bank of its own full of unbound stuff to sell if needed....regardless how they got it all, these people exist and can and will ruin things if they drop to often.

    So essentially you are basically breaking even with every lockbox? Nice. Wish I could do that.


    Ultimately, the game is trying to balance the people that are in game rich, versus people who are willing to spend real money....and its something that just doesnt make sense most of the time. For example, would you prefer to spend 1.5m AD on an account wide mount, or $30? Most people who have been here a while would do do the 1.5m and not blink.


    I know people who open 300-400 lockboxes a day and don't even blink.

    this one I just opened gave me 2 insigs... 10AD each. whats the point of having a VIP benny if all you give is bs. =( stupid.

    yeah all the good drops are extremely rare and the ones that arent are flooding the market the first hour of its release so pretty much money wasted unless u get lucky.

    I don't see why you think its not worth it.... keys only cost between 24 - 33 Zen each (12,000 to 16,500 AD) and the sub-boxes that drop from the chests sell for between 10,000 - 50,000 on the AH. On average, you make money from them. You just have to log in each day, and buy 30 keys at a time, to be delivered one a day. Miss a day, you miss your key.

    Easy AD.

    That's the reason i dont have vip anymore, i cant log everyday, so i loose key all the time (last time i've lost 11 keys in a month)

    Atm i only plan to buy vip during next winter festival, and even on that festival i will need help from my brother (that lives on another city) to log for me in some days...

    Define commercials? Not sure what you are referring to....

    If you mean the sub-boxes, you are making a looooooong stretch. If not, please explain, and I'll elaborate, if I can.
