pvp feats and boons!!!

I found a guide but its from mod 8 lol
With the new load out feature I'm trying pvp on my cw
Any help would be apreciated!!!

I roll with Chilling Presence and Orb of Imposition and spam CoI, repel for node clearing, and disintegrate. You may want to run shield as well, I use CoI on mastery, mage missile for arcane stacks and SB on the offhand.

and how many deaths per match are you averaging with no shield on tab ???
what is your current kills to death / assist win / loss ratio ??
You must be running with 300k hitpoints lol
there is no way you are effectively holding a node with that setup maybe you are stomping pugs ?
because you said you dont premade...

no Shield = 1 shotted by a TR really really bad idea
no shield = no CC resistance bonus either

DEpends the enemies are not same always. if you fight a party with no controls you could use other power depending what your build can do with the mastery slot.

Show me a ranked Cw that fights a Premade with no Shield on Tab or regular and I will eat my hampster

this person was advocating no shield at all must have like 40-50% life steal then lol

would love to see this party you are fighting with no control the Cc resistance of shield is .2 seconds more by the way
and not my main point

and if you are fighting a party with no control it is a damaging party and again my point to be using shield

no hampster your setup can depend on who you are facing but in a heavy match and when you are in combat you cant switch powers to suit the situation you are just dead ....

what you are going to say hold on a sec mr tr shield I slot in shield right lol
or oops suddenly its 2 or 3 v 1 hold on a sec guys while i put repel / shield on tab .... etc

unless you are an expert at reading the other teams comp and knowing who is dangerous or not

having no shield is ill advised for nubs or moderate skilled players alike .... and is only for expert level players or foolish players ....

i didnt say no shield at all you can use it on encounter if can do better for you something else on tab.
AND depending on your goals is not hard to change encounters depending what you want to do in a specific situation.

yup we agree sometime shield is just good in the regular slot
and have repel or conduit or disintegrate on tab / mastery

PvP 101

The first feat the all Cws should have pvp Or pve Is 1 point in Severe reaction for a 15% chance that nothing happens to you its is the first choice of the oppressor tree..

you only need 1 point in it for 15% ... the action point gain is less important

if you want to be tankier in Pvp or Pve you need to take this ..

I mentioned only 3 powers I use regularly, shield usually moves around between my regular slots and mastery depending on who I'm dealing with. I just happen to like CoI on mastery by default, I don't see why that's any business of yours. I would really appreciate it if you could stop trying to antagonize me, it's getting old.

as an Expert Pvp Cw i am simply offering advice and shooting the hampster
current hitpoints and other nuances addressed being quite valid

I ignored the first post cause I don't need encounters! I'm not sure Wich paragon to be!!! I still need to buy the pvp rings so I have plenty of time to research!!!

Hi Kalina, can you clarify what you mean by "nothing happens to you"? Do you not take damage, do you not take cc? Do u mean Stamina gain? The 10% stamina gain sounds pretty useful.

Ah I was writing about oppressor tree and feats but then saw that you have chosen renegade. Well Kalina has written tons of stuff on these forums that apply to many trees so maybe worth checking them out.

sacrificing shield for an additional dps power and going in kamakaze style and dying on purpose to take some one out thats is low might be the new meta next mod closer to the golden era of pvp style
