No new dun gear has crit?

So I'm a GWF that's just now starting to do enough damage that I don't feel like a waste of space. I replaced my dusk helm for the one from SoT, losing crit, which sucked cuz I was leaning on crit for my build.them today I got the chest from valindras, which also has no crit, but it has a lot more power. I don't know if 15 il here and there is worth it to keep losing all my crit. Does any of the new 150 gear from dungeon chests have crit? What could be a way to replace my crit stat?

What is your crit at with your bonding procced? once you get your enchants high enough and if you put crit on your companion, you might not need it on your gear

Plus I did change my boots recently and haven't had the AD to buy major crit kit for them yet. I can only make greater now so I have to buy the good ones.

The short answer: stat distribution matters more than a few ilvl points. iLvl is there to give you a general idea, but trading a power/crit/defense item for a recovery/defense/deflect item would decrease your DPS even if it's a much higher ilvl.

So should you continue to drop crit just to equip newer gear? No.

As defiantone suggested, you should work towards building out companion gear on bondings, while maintaining a balanced build (so hold on to the new stuff until you're ready to equip it without losing damage output).

Yeah, I def wouldn't equip it if it didn't have any crit or power, both the helm and chest in question give me a big boost in power, just I lose crit. Good thing about deflect, life steal and defense is I have an insignia bonus that takes from those stats and transforms 10% of the total into power. So I'm trading crit for a lot more power actually.

get the chest from sva..lottsa crit.. but yeah, thigs will have a lot of power and no crit. thats good.. just adjust your enchants as towards bondings, and mount insignias. If you have the right artifacts, and crit enchants, get them maxed out. the crit will catch backup... dont worry, keep the power, its so important endgame.

I thought a lot of GWF use the Elemental Alliance Helm from ETOS.

Yeah, I've heard from a lot of people about the alliance helm from etos, havnt got it to drop yet. I'm now starting to farm cn for the helm, it's got a good crit too,

Okay so on the GWF you want the helm from eToS at least until you get the super snazzy FBI/MSVA gear that requires so much upkeep that I don't want them. The CN hat I didn't find to be too impressive but they also fall about one every 7 CN's. I put it on a handful of my 70's mainly because I just had so many Orcus hats they were everywhere.

I would suggest upping the crit on your companion and upping your bondings - I think that is where you will find the biggest jump.
