While active my mage slayer does not give me double portal stones from ornately carved boxes. The only reason I bought this companion was to give me double portal stones from ornately carved boxes. I would like my money back please.
Based on the description http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Mage_Slayer Mage Slayer "Doubles drop rate of Portal Stones in the River District", not "doubles the amount of the stones dropped". So, for example, you should see Portal Stones dropping from ship HE twice more often than without it (although these already seem to drop frequently enough). Note, that you can only have one portal stone in your inventory, so you can't get 2 of them at once.
So on a 100% chance of receiving 1 stone, would not double the rate = 200% or two stones???? Wording...maybe the stone just goes into your bag twice as fast...idk
