Relic weapons refinement issue

Hey there,

So I've ran msva a few times (mostly on my GF, that is) on xb1 and I think I have enough marks to get my sw's weapons to epic once I start refining. There's something that I want to know and is what's the best way to upgrade the relic weapons asap? As they're significantly more powerful than the rest we currently have, what would I keep the twisted set for? I rather get rid of it as have enough inventory space issues as it is. I've been thinking of dumping my twisted into my relic weapons and I've been close to do that but, every time I tried, the game show I will only get around 1.850.000 refinement points (my relics are rank 1) for both mian hand and off-hand. Is that normal? If I get the weapons to blue with other refinement (black opals, peridots, etc) would I get more rp out of the twisted set if dumping them into relic counterpart at that point? Perhaps I will get the same amount of refinement regardless of what's the quality of relic weapons? I think the answer may be yes but it would be awesome if you guys can tell me the asnwer. 1.85 million rp is way too low for both main hand and off-hand considering that my twisted set is at legendary, if you guys can tell me how get my relic set to epic getting as much as I can from my twisted one that would he highly appreciate.

Edit: finally could get the 3,7 million rp from the tiwsted mainhand and got the 1,85 million from the off-hand so I guess it worked the same way it did for all of you guys.

    If you put your mainhand twisted in your relic mainhand it shows the double rp 3.7xy mio rp, if you put your offhand twisted in your offhand it´s only the half of rp. It´s a known issue I learned, it´s bugged due to coding?

    No, no matter how many times I try, putting mainhand and off-hand twisted weapóns in their relic counterparts does give me 1,85 million rp (more or less half of what you said), do i need to get relics to blue before using the twisted set as feeder in order to get the x2 rp bonus? perhaps it's bugged and i need to wait for x2 rp? If anyone can make that clear that would help me a lot, I want to start using my new weapons asap but need them to have their x2 enchantment slots!

    I think I will tag more people on this thread even though it's on the nine hells section, as it is about relic weapons rather than SW class only it will be okay I think, I see I should have posted this on general discussion though.

    On PC efw weeks ago I put my mainhand twisted in my relic main and offhand. Both showed >3,7 mio rp, wich is weared because mainhand in offhand should only give half of it. No double rp btw since artifact weapons are allways giving you double rp since about..hm 1 or 2 years.
    On PC I put my twiseted offhand in my relic main and relic offhand and both showed 1,8 mio rp (wich is also weared because it´was the same value).
    In the sum I lost a big chunk of rp due to a broken code/bug about this.

    I know that artifact weapons are supposed to be always x2 rp (I thought it was after wepon was blue though) but no matter what, at least in my case> legendary twisted into rank 1 relic > 1.85 million rp, it should be 3.7 million, correct? I wonder if I'm missing something or if I'm doing things incorrectly. Perhaps I should submit a ticket?

    @schietindebux no idea what the issue was but finally could get the main hand twisted to give me the correct amount of rp, bye bye twisted weapons!

    It's always 3.7M on main hand and 1.8M on off-hand.
    You should have done some fishing and saved the twisted for an alt. I did that. I saved my SW's twisted and put them into GF's twisted and filled the rest with some rp...then I saved it and now that I'm thinking about making an op I put the GF twisted on OP twisted. You can get easy RP from fishing.

    The rp a feeder gives is based on its own rank, doesn't matter the rank of the item that is going to be fed.

    I don't know much about this offhand issue: did you try during the x2RP as well ?
    Personnaly, I refined my relic weapons mainly with amethysts : they are worth 250 000 RP (500 000 during x2RP) and they are easily found in the treasure hunt chests. And they are very cheap to restore.
    I have saved my twisted weapons for an alt.

    Thanks @kallephi#0836 . I was unaware you could use another toons twisted for refinement.

    Hey guys!

    Haha it has been quite a long time since I created this thread, I think @kallephi#0836 explained me what the deal was and such. Just wanted to say that today I got the last legendary marks I needed for my sw alt, guys I'm so happy MSVA's mindless grind is over, it took me like 2,5 months to get the weapons of 2 toons to legendary xD Well, technically I haven't I need to transfer the marks to my SW and do it :smile:

    I used all my twisted sets as RP for MSVA relic sets on alts. Sorry for not answering, I'm not playing anymore, just gambling daily with lockboxes and hoping for decent changes in the game to come back.
