Anyone else having troubles with the glowing path not showing up? It seems to be isolated to my cleric. Is does not occur all of the time. Restarting the game or even the console does not seem to help.
Upon completing the Mercantile Missions quest in the River District, the glowing path showed again. My cleric is my only character that has open this area (probably why only my he was affected). Has anyone noticed this and could it be a bug?
if this happens to you again try going to the left bumper up button map. the guide line should still be there in that screen. zoom all the way in on it. then go back to the world. the line should be back. at least that's been working for me when it disappears in game.
Was Mercantile Missions your active quest? Doesn't that quest involve multiple options to complete it ie do HE's or digsites or kill things, etc? If so, I don't think that quest displays a path since it's your choice how to proceed in it and not a matter of go to point A and then point B.
This has been happening off and on with all mine for ages. Sometimes simply going into the map screen works, usually I have to end up restarting the game. Once or twice I've had to cold restart my xbox, and sometimes nothing worked but waiting it out. It mainly happens in exteriors from Icewind Dale and subsequent material. But once it kicks in its gone everywhere.
Not a problem in familiar zones but a cast iron ballache in SKT's snowy wastes. Just one more reason to steer clear.
It's not there for my GF -heck nothing in a dungeon is there for him, no rewards, no AD, no XP. Heck I can't even use a dungeon key at the end even though I have 1.
I think that's a bigger deal than the trail marker. That's worth a bug report and ticket submission. Not having the trail is inconvenient, but not having any rewards on dungeons is something else.

I sent in a ticket yesterday. I am guessing the next Xbox will be out before it's replied too.
everything works fine on my Paladin though. No clue whats wrong with the Guardian Fighter.

Just out of interest, if you PUG a skirmish or dungeon with your GF do you appear in the group?

No. It shows me as all alone.
Did one yesterday for the guild quest, and after I finished it didn't even count. So everything grouping wise is broken on my Guardian Fighter.
There is a way to resolve this. Off the top of my head I can't remember what it is, but I imagine it won't be long till someone who knows turns up and explains it. Not exactly helpful I know... but there IS a solution...
I have that problem on my GWF. It is only a temporary fix, but when I pug a dungeon, I simply request to join the group. As long as you are picked before the final boss fight, it will count for you. As mordekai said, there is a permanent fix, but I can't recall either.

If there is a permanent solution, I hope someone tells me soon. lol
I did ask to be grouped, I guess neither player heard me or just ignored me. I am guessing they ignored me.
You can bet your trousers that if you'd been a DC rather than GWF they'd have invited you.
What if my trousers are those $450 jeans with the fake mud on them
Anyway, I created a Trickster Rogue and when I hit level 12 I did a dungeon and everything works fine on that character. it's just ONE of my characters that has issues.
