I'm pretty new to Neverwinter and I rarely see any other TR's in game. Did the TR get a nerf? And I noticed that the Scourge Warlock and Control Wizard and The Hunter are killing nearly everything in the dungeons. So as a TR how do I compete with the other dps classes?

Despite this I think more people should roll TR in pve because when played correctly they can crank out an incredible amount of damage.
When you invoke, you gain a bonus multiplier to your AD gain, rather than a lump when you invoke.
The idea was that this AD comes from you playing the game rather than parking 20 characters in a campfire. Did PS4 get started where endgame was Elemental Evil/Strongholds?
Because, if that's the case, then it makes sense as to why there's less TRs.
The reasoning is that why bother trying to DPS on a TR when the GWF is twice as durable, twice as effective, and only needs half the skill of the high-tier DPS TRs?
And for your problem with burst DPS: in most level 70 dungeons, whoever touches the mobs first does all the DPS. So, the only advice I would have is to get to the mobs first.
The CW and Combat HR specialize in murdering groups of mobs extremely quickly.
But a lot of us love our TR and the high learning curve it takes to play and even if a new flavor of the month stronger dps is out we stay loyal to our TR and await the day they fix it so we can dust them off and take em for a spin.
TR is a hell of a lot of fun and it's sad the state they left it in post mod 6
But hey!! We can still take our revenge on GWF in pvp even if we are the waterboys of PVE right now.

I don't when post mod 6 was rolled out because I play on the ps4. It's off topic but when was post mod 6 rolled out?
It was around late 2014 thru beginning of 2015 when the level cap was raised and stealth changes happened too
And the major issue was our armor sets pretty much give armor pen, crit, health and life steal.
We are capped on crit and armor pen
100% and 60% life steal if you over 20-30% it's a waste due to we hit so fast with so many attacks you can pretty much stay full and health and def is useless as no matter how much you add you still are basically wearing armor about as durable as Saran Wrap and will get 1 shotted by end game stuff with100 defense or with 10k defense
You can go out of your way to add health or deflect but at the cost of damage which we aren't exactly topping the meter on as it is ..
So each mod that is released we get more and more of these stats which honestly don't help anyway so while other classes scale up we stay the same.not to mention game mechanics have changed -moving bosses, bigger AOE from mobs none of which we excel at ..
Laughing yesterday watching a rogue trying to hit a mage that was teleporting around ...it was hilarious he couldn't hit it.
To do our best we need a stationary mob and hitfrom behind but now every boss has a 360 degree aoe around him .
If you have enough skill and know the TR nuisances you can still do well but it's much harder now to keep up bleed stacks or utilize SOD to its full potential as you must chase bosses around or roll out every sec for a new aoe.
It's still fun to be challenged rather than stand there with my GWF whacking my big sword without fear.
That sounded nasty ! I never whack in public ! But you get the idea..
We just need a bit of a PVE buff and some added utility and I believe our group worth will go up a lot.
