Remove Everfrost Resist From Fangbreaker Island

Like black ice gear, eventually everybody is going to shift away from everfrost gear. That makes the dungeon inaccessible. And thats one end game dungeon less to play.

The EF resist does actually make the dungeon more doable but I do have an issue with the constant top-ups required on armor.

Personally I think they should add a job to the Black Ice Profession where you'd have a rank 5 task similar to the Elemental upgrade on Dragonflight, but where it adds EF resist (that doesn't need topping up).

Top Ups are the dumbest mechanic the devs have ever thought of.

While I like the idea of removing the requirement (and let the damage go the same place that BI damage did), you don't need to mess with relic gear at all to get in. 4% boons, 6% greater pants and shirt, 10% from greater kits on the same. 20% total. You can wear the underwear full time or slot enough enchants to keep your IL up, the use the drop down on your charactet sheet to manage. That leaves 8%, which can be managed with relic weapons and a ring or just a 10% potion.

The pants and shirt have a decent set bonus for DPS classes as well.

Definetly not true. Kessel's was always easy doable without the black ice recistance, FBI isn't always. Especially "beginner" groups will get a lot of trouble without the EF resistance. Experienced groups can definetly clear FBI easily without the EF resi but I would suggest it to everyone that enters the dungeon.
Imo the EF resi is not a punishment from the devs for the players. There are still a lot of groups who can't clear FBI and remove the requirements wouldn't make it better.

Im saying this because of the future when better gear replace everfrost gear like what it did to black ice gear. The requirement does not fit in long run.

I just hate switching gear to run a dungeon. Loadouts will help, but really need enchant swaps. PVP, FBI and normal T3 T2s...three sets of equip. Crazy.

I don't have problems with Vonin Blod upkeep, people that don't play this game enough seem to have problems

not everyone has that much time to play

Fish up or buy a few treasure bottles. Grab treasures which.always include relics. Trade in for blood and youll be fine.

They will probably remove the requirement someday but i think kessels wasnt dor a few mods after at least.

IMO they did the last few pieces of content wrong. They should have created another profession focused on crafting relic and resist gear. This way, going forward the devs could use that profession for anything crafting related that requires resistance to a specific type of damage or new type of gear that has to be created. It should also allow players to create and sell the weapon / gear, providing end game players additional revenue and players who simply don't want to farm the content a way to buy gear if they so choose.

I do like your idea and wish they would have done something else other than what they did.

Then again, looking at what it takes to Mastercraft (as their sole recent Professions-related development) ... maybe we should be thankful that they didn't.
