I play the Swiss Army Ranger build. Kind of weak at first but once you get all the boons in place and start building up your armor levels it becomes quite powerful

http://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/neverwinter/#/categories/the-wilds I'd start in the class forums here. and on mmo minds. some of the builds maybe out of date but for a standard trapper build it's still all the same from mod 9 or so. if you're a lower level il pve hr that's what you should be speccing.

I still think that one of the HR abilities should be "Death Strike": a Daily, one on one (HR vs single foes) and base on the a percentage+ of the own characters hit point in damage to enemy. (use Legolas vs Orcs in the HOBBIT: Battle of the Five Armies as a model).
