Unsure why! I start the Game launcher. It takes about 3-5 minutes for the launcher to boot, first going through the patch updates in small window, than full screen loading page, than page changes with loading page showing bar moving. Gets to screen to choose Character, which I only have ONE atm... you click JOIN WORLD, and maybe another minute or so passes. Once In game, though sometimes a delay in graphics loading, once character in the world... I proceed to move!
No matter where I am, it seems I have about 2 minutes to spare... whether I get to vendor in the Market Square, or crossing the open square of Protectors Enclave, or make it to gate and move to another realm of game... after about 2 minutes, suddenly game closes! No warnings. Sometimes once on desktop, the window is gone, but I still hear sound effects as if game is running, but not window to choose of game in progress on task bar at bottom. I sometimes get some error message in window. I don't know what code is now.
THIS has only recently started. My character is about a Lvl 12 character. Already got a Mount, a horse. Able to play most of game upto the point I'm at in Protectors Enclave, doing many missions. Made it to Tower District fighting some Orgs completing some Quests in Tower District, as well on a quest solving the mystery of a dead carrier in my apartment (A1), which turned to a Caravan Escort (A2) quest, now with A3 part waiting for me to get back to it! Until suddenly?
I load game after not playing for half day, and it's crashing!!

Instead? After recent re-patching, I closed window when patch updating finished. I checked computer updates which some were needed. I did a Windows 10 patch update, now the latest version of Win 10. I checked all my driver updates and made sure all were upto date.
Adobe Flash wanted to update, so I completed that. Chrome wanted update! All this took place in about 1.5 - 2 hours. I even ran a video graphics card driver update, which said was all current. I ran an update on my malware scanner. Once all said and done, and supposedly updated, I shutdown my computer, and let it sit for minute before rebooting.
I went back to game... and everything actually seemed to run smoother. All the load screens seem to load faster, no joke. I thought... maybe this did the trick, and everything was too out of date to support the game!? Well. I got into PE, standing literally next to a City gate as I was trying to leave the last time I tried coming in to game before crash. So I hit the interact key, goes to Gate destination window, I choose the stronghold, and it goes into gate loading screen. Takes a min. Than, before exiting the loading window, the game closes! CRASHED!!
NOW? Next option I'm doing, as I go to bed, I am preparing computer to "Compress Drive" to clean my C: drive. This usually takes an hour or so... i have 100's of thousands of bytes of info on here... so this seems to be an important task I must do on occasion... and seems daunting to accomplish. I do so overnight!
Meanwhile... any ideas? let me know!
I first started on game (NW) a year ago, when I had my XBOX1 setup at old apt. I was forced to move! No longer living where I can use my XBOX1, especially not able to online. HOwever, I have a farely old outdated laptop that seems to still run games I like! I push it's limits no doubt, buti discovered one day couple weeks ago, my Windows 10 account with microsoft could access any of my older games I had on XBOX1... I thought... HELL YA!! And came back to Neverwinter after being gone for over a year. I wasn't no expert than, I only had a L52 HR and a Level 24 SW if I recall correctly! Still, two fairly developed characters? I was somewhat exp with game. Starting over from scratch on Windows vs didn't seem much a problem! Suddenly? It's been crashing! IDK Y!
For those curious?
I have a Toshiba Satellite L655 -??? something model laptop computer. By standards? It sucks. But has done well, holding it's own, running many computer games of my own. Most? I'm not supposed to! According to most my game requirements, the computer does NOT meet the standards for most games, still performing for them.
Intel Pentium CPU P6100 @ 2.00GHz and 2.00 GHz integrated video/graphics.
Installed RAM is 3.00GB (2.86GB avail)
32x Bit OS Win 10 Home Prem 64x bit processor.
After all said and done, I restart computer, than I restart Arc and NW launcher. The game seemed ok, not needing to recheck all the files for missing, like has done. I may done that yesterday after last crash. I start game. Same thing happens, goes through all the startup procedures... once I'm in NW Protectors Enclave? already near gate, I try going through gate exit to Guild Stronghold, and before I load the stronghold.. IT CRASHES. Game closes. This time no sound!
I'm still LOST!! What can I do?
Someone help me please!
I don't think Mine listed above are too far fetched from what's required... It appears they are right on!? Idk!

They announced last November they will no longer support DX9 any longer, but have extended support to DX10, as this allows them to update some of the visuals. So you want to confirm your video card supports at least Direct 3D 10.
IF you believe your Video Card does in deed match support for Direct 3D Hardware Feature Level 10 or higher:
When the LAUNCHER LOADS you will find an a text dialog that is underlined saying OPTIONS that you can click.
IF you select that when the launcher loads you will see some options where you can then SELECT FORCE VERIFY and then also DESELECT On Demand Patching this option you will likely later want to RESELECT (On Demand Patching) after it has downloaded & verified all files after you SAVE, EXIT and RELAUNCH the game loader and it has finished downloading & verifying any files from this process.
After that process loads hopefully it will correct your problem, if not the other thing to check is your video drivers are up-to-date, and then confirm your video card supports Direct 3D Level 10 with manufacturer.
Kind Regards...
