Looking for some companion advice when i play my cleric

I need a companion that does high dps. While I don't have any issues with dying it just takes like a week to kill something with my cleric. Not really a week but you get the idea. What companions do good dps so I can get thru mobs quicker?? I'm talking about solo play not in groups or dungeon runs I have that covered. I'm more concerned about doing dailies and campaign content solo stuff I don't want to bother anyone else with getting me thru them.

I use a Blackice Prospector with my cleric.

I am a healadin but maybe might help, get any melee companion to allow yourself to gain combat advantage, that really helps bring down mobs quicker. Like mentioned above I use the black ice prospector, really solid companion and it's whirlwind ability really racks up some deeps in crowds.

Shadow Demon is the companion with the best DPS. And even that's not amazing.

Hopefully, it'll help you cut down mobs.

What feat path/build type are you running and what's your item level? If you're pre-3k you'd be best running a full Righteous build including Astral Fury and Righteous Suffering as they boost your DPS by 20%. Take Piercing Light to boost your Resistance Ignored and get your RI to over 50%.

With this you should be able to kill pretty much anything solo, including npc's in IWD and SKT. If you're having survival problems, boost your power and use Astral Shield for defence until your self healing ability and Damage Reduction stat are high enough.

The good news is we have a 30% boost to offensive skills in the pipeline.

On companions, I got to 3k with just an ioun stone and rarely died unless I over-aggro'd but even with low defence, an empowered AS will make you almost immune to damage most of the time. You should be using Chains, Divine Glow and BTS and only use AS if the damage in the zone is too much for you.

For summoned companion I currently use a fire sprite as it's a ranged striker with AP gain but I also have earth and air archons which together boost my dps by 13%.
