(PC) Game updating really slow

axljenkinsaxljenkins Member Posts: 12 Arc User
Anyone else having the issue of the game updating rather slowly. This has only happened right after the cloaked ascendency went live.
The game will update for a bit and stop a few seconds later and then begin and then stop again.
Am I the only one having this issue?

Thx for feedback in advance:)

I am also having this issue too. it hangs for hours, I wonder if a hot patch needs to be figured out and released to fix this issue. I have been trying to update since the release of the The Cloaked Ascendency went live.
The launcher is only showing Patching and seems to be hung up on that, it I don't know if it is stuck or if anything is happening.

Update: I got it to start updating properly. I checked the task manager and saw that the arc and Never winter processes were running in the memory and figured that they must have been hanging, so I ended them by selecting to end the process (only the process not the process tree). started Arc again, logged in, and started the Neverwinter Launcher and its patching now just fine.

Im downloading the game for the first time but it stopped at 70%, if I quit and open the launcher again, will it lose everything I've downloaded so far?

Theoretically you shouldn't, what is downloaded and patched is downloaded and patched. That said, we've just had a new module introduced Tuesday and the game is spouting even more bugs than usual. So who knows.
Logic is the beginning of wisdom, not the end of it.
