Companion dissapeared after soulforge

After the sea of moving ice launch on xbox one there is a bug where sometimes when you soulforge your companion just dissapears usually happens alot in sva and msva where you can soulforge multiple times quickly have confirmed this to happen with many of the people in my guild with soulforge

    Occasionally I get a message that my companion has died and that I need to resummon them. Is it possible that this happened?

    Na it's not that there is no where for him to fall off and die in msva and it doesn't say that he died he just dissapears and can't be resummoned because you can't exit combat in msva but as soon as you kill yourself or wipe he's there again saw it on a twitch stream last night as well like I said only seems yo happen when u die and soulforge or when u get stuck in the ice pillars and die and he just dissapears like not even below your player icon anymore dissapears

    Also have tried the bell to bring him back and that doesn't work only way to bring him back is to wipe and resummon

    My guildies and I have also experienced this; its frequent enough that whenever we run a raid, some one regularly calls out to check active companion status.

    Yup have you figured out a way to resummon without dying because I usually just finish without the companion seeing as u can't leave combat in msva

    yeah it's not the same thing as your companion dying. the companion has been just disappearing a lot in general recently I never put it together with soulforge. it also disappears when you are in the somi and q for something. you'll go into it wiht no companion.

    This happens to me too very annoying! Especially in a fight like MSVA.

    On pc you can do a quick log out/in to bring your companion back. The quickest way to do that (on pc) is to hit escape then change character (keeping the one you are playing) and reenter the game where you left off. Works everytime, but quite annoying. Worth the few seconds of missing dps without a companion.

    DEVS: THIS IS HAPPENING ON PC AS WELL.
