You know the ones, "Weapons of Earth" etc.
Well, after getting my Weaponsmithing to 25 yesterday, I saw a load of the Burning/Earthen/Drowned/Howling artifact Main Hands and Off Hands available to make, for a very minimal cost in fact.
I'm assuming that Shields, and gear for Clerics, Wizards and Warlocks will be those new tasks added to Artificing at Rank 25 mentioned in the notes.
No more farming motes! Rejoice!

Grinding is not needed.
I've got them running cos I still farm the campaign as its the only route I have for Conquerors Shards for the Guild, but 3 HEs a day in each zone isnt getting too much in the way.
ETA its also a way to make them more accessible than simply sticking them in the Trade Bar Legacy section.
Of course, the number of elements you need to make them is more than you would get from 100 HEs on a wand, so it will likely see more farming...

Build a new Skirmish for each of the EE zones.
Call them, ooh, I don't know... The TEMPLE of Elemental Evil...
Award Profession Elements as part of the loot based on BSG success, and rework motes so they are easier to get and tradeable in the zone for Elemental Keys. (Because of the increased drop rate they would also need to īncrease the required number for the quest line by the same factor.)
In the chests are whatever the devs think appropriate along with more Elements.
If you want to build a weapon set from scratch, which I assume is the idea, you need a total of...
179 of the relevant Element, and 54 each of the other three...
So it's either the Devils own grind, or the sort of AD players looking for those sets dont really have.
So once again, its a marketplace for higher level players to make money flogging Unified Elements (which are currently cheaper than the component Elemental Aggregates.)
Again with the try to understand before talking rubbish.
It only takes a moments thought to realise I'm talking about BASE elements.
Elemental Fire
Elemental Water
Elemental Earth
and Elemental Air
I was out by 6. I'm sorry... 48 not 54
If you want to BUILD FROM SCRATCH you will need
Each UNIFIED Element requires... 4 Elemental Aggregate.
Each Elemental Aggregate requires... 4 of each base Elements
16 of each base element for 1 Unified.
16 multiplied by 3 equals..... 48
Add to that the 125 of one specific element and it adds up to the numbers I gave before.
The clue was when I referred to the relevant elements and the other three...
Do you see now, or has fishing addled your brain?
Still a hellish grind.
And if you say elements, I'm going to say Unified Elements as it's in the name. The others are called "Elemental" however, so you'll have to forgive me for not understanding your vague references to other sodding things.
Do me a favour, and just don't reply to anything I write, your ignorance, arrogance, and sheer incompetence grinds on me. Shame i can't block people on here, would of made my life easier DAYS AGO.
I made a Burning set for my DC and I made a Drowned set for my GF. I am done making Elemental Artifact Weapons. Got my Twisted on my HR and am 4 gold wins away from Twisted set on my OP.
Raising Leadership to 25 to avoid grinding is a bit of a laugh.
I can easily imagine someone focussing on Artificing or Weapon smithing to get the Elemental set... but Leadership?
The distinction should have been obvious since I subsequently referred to Unified and Aggregate by name.
But hey... why let common sense get in the way of having a snidey dig eh?

I imagine the usual AH shuffle is going on, and people who have lots of elements but aren't interested in using them now see a market for them, and rather than slowly releasing them are dumping for a quick sale and the price war has begun.
Which is great, cos every now and then my Aggregate making character doesn't have enough of a particular element, and it will end up being cheaper for my factory line production of Unifieds.
Unifieds have risen slightly. Cheapest yesterday were just over 20k... (much cheaper than 4 Aggregates) now they're back up to around 30 though there are a couple of bulk deals that work out at 25k per.
Aggregates are still floating at circa 6k each.
