FBI gear

So since the update, when they removed the chest inside the chest from FBI has anyone gotten the relic armor to drop?....I'm assuming it's just inside the chest now, instead of being inside the ostorian chest inside the chest.....but I've done about 10 runs since update and nobody in any of my groups has gotten a single piece, any luck from you guys??

    I got the chestpiece on my DC last night, left hand chest but in 4 runs before this I only got the ring twice.

    The chest now opens within the chest, using a chest keys, that once what a chest within a chest... Yeah Ive seen a few people get some things, on the second day of the module launch I finally got my Headsman Bracers on the 94th run, along with an Autumn Stag.(btw now one of my favorite looking mounts. :3 )

    I got the chest piece tonight, and it gave me the choice of raid or assault....

    Nice, haven't heard of being given a choice before. I finally got the helm for my DC a few days after the update, but wasn't given a choice. Like others said, the helm was in the left chest.


    Edit: just clarifying ... you were given the choice of assault or raid for a Relic Chest Piece? I often see a choice for elven gear showing at the top of the chest. You have to pick one before it gives you the chest contents.

    All relic gear comes from the left chest, as they did before the change. There was no alteration to that, simply removed the chest within a chest. So you don't have two disappointments. c:

    Yes when I opened the left chest there was 4 options an elemental ring, elemental neck, and the two relic chest pieces.

    OKay ... that sure sounds like that gear is not the new Relic Gear you are farming for in FBI ... but is probably the older, elven gear. Decent, but you are probably past using it if you are running FBI.

    Apologies if I am wrong, but haven't heard of getting a choice on the Relic Gear. Does the chest piece you picked have an option to "Restore" when you click on it?

    I know that's what I was thinking,(that there was a choice for elven but not relic) maybe I got the chest piece and didn't notice it I thought I read the chest rewards carefully, but an hour or two later when I was salvaging, I noticed the (frayed) chest piece in my inventory. (Of course not the one I want) I have also heard of people opening chests recently and having things appear in their inventory later.

    Drop rates on relic armor feel reduced to me now. Haven't seen a single drop since the changes.

    Yeah I think the same....I've done about 50 runs, and received 4 gear drops, of course 3 were the wrong set!!

    I agree on the reduced drop rate. I keep getting assault pieces, if I even get a piece. Why not give the option to choose assault or raid like elven gear? You'd think the drop rate would be higher to get people to grind out getting the lanolin they need instead of making it nearly impossible to get the gear you want. It's not like the gear salvages for much at 1200AD. I'm not the only person having issues getting gear to drop at all. 20+ run dryspell of no gear is kind of disheartening.

    Still waiting for my raid armlets...but the good news according to TCA patch notes, ESPC will have a chance to drop relics gear, if it is restored or not, will need some inside knowledge (looking at you previewers) regarding!

    I thought they said they were going to fix drop rates, make spending keys feel more worthwhile, 'cuz it feels just as barren as ever...

    Go farm maps, getting the Lanolin was never a hard task, same with Dragon Turtle Moult which can be traded, or sold for more Lanolin. :P As for you guys running FBI I finished by set at about 99-ish runs, used to be in my Signature, but removed it since that goal was finished. c:

    Unrestored is really the only fair option, everyone else that has their restored relic armor had to go through the painful process of farming mats why should they make it easier for people who waited to farm the gear?

    Anybody here know how to make relic gear vivied? It says I need a headsman's testimonial vol 3 where the heck do you get that? It's not in collections I'm on xbox

    You have to run SVA/MSVA 1 time a week for the Ostorian Tale Carving. Each volume cost x amount of carvings at the "carving" vendor in Bryn Shander

    I think you can only get carvings from msva, but not totally sure

    Once every week = a carving.
