Hey guys, long time no talk. I've been busy lately with work etc but saw stuff on the test server and via my guildes like
@flensburger99, posted some valuable info about the new sets. What caught my attention on his post was via
a fellow player, this
'Fey: When you damage an enemy or heal an ally, there is a chance you become Fey-Touched, which restores 10% of your AP, as well as increases your Outgoing Damage by 3% and your Outgoing Healing by 6% for 10 seconds. You can only be Fey-Touched once every 30 seconds.'
'Firesoul: When you damage an enemy, there is a chance you become Fortified, which increases your defense by 5% and adds your Defense to your Power, to a max of 30% increase of your total Power.'
I'll just like to you know the thoughts of these specific two weapons? Do you clerics, who went for the lighttender's set, do you overall feel like it was a waste? Thoughts/opinions will be welcomed

I'm not a huge DC expert, but...
The Fey set bonus seems "alright" to me.
As supporters, we give zero HAMSTERS about outgoing damage. The extra outgoing healing is nice, but I doubt it will make or break a DC build. The AP gain is the biggest appeal, but 10% isn't much, and if you've gotten far enough into the River campaign to get the Fey set, chances are you'll likely have a good rate of daily recharge anyways.
Although I have no exact data or testing on this, I suspect that the set bonus will work like the Burning Set: guranteed buff upon activating the set, but then you deal with the ICD. The tooltip is worded similarly, which is why I suspect this.
As for Firesoul, I don't think it will be as useful as we'd think.
Last I checked, buffs such as the Twisted set bonus do not count towards powershare of AA. I have no numerical testing or data, but I suspect this set bonus will be appear as buff like the Twisted set, and thus will not be useful for AA Powershare. The extra power could be useful for squeezing out some extra heals, I suppose.
For the "Firesoul" bonus, it is not relevant as the power buff will probably not count for powersharing skills (AA, BoB,...).
*the new weapon's set have the same base power than lighttender, so definitely, for me they are better. You can completely ignore SVA now. Well played cryptic
I'm a fan of things that make sense. This weapon makes sense and from what I've seen doesn't need SVA one bit.

Some of my best friends are Imaginary.
New weps:
Aberrant: When you damage an enemy, there is a chance you will become a Far-Influenced, which increases your Outgoing Damage by 4% and grants you a random buff for 10 seconds.
Lifestealer: Increases your Lifesteal by 2500.
Tainted Attack: Enemies you attack will take additional damage over time.
Impeding Death: Enemies you attack will explode on death, doing damage to other foes. You can only be Far-Influenced once every 30 seconds.
Fey: When you damage an enemy or heal an ally, there is a chance you become Fey-Touched, which restores 10% of your AP, as well as increases your Outgoing Damage by 3% and your Outgoing Healing by 6% for 10 seconds. You can only be Fey-Touched once every 30 seconds.
Firesoul: When you damage an enemy, there is a chance you become Fortified, which increases your defense by 5% and adds your Defense to your Power, to a max of 30% increase of your total Power.
Illusion: When you damage an enemy, there is a chance you become a Master of Illusion for 10 seconds! As a Master of Illusion will summon three illusions of yourself to fight for you, though results may vary. A Master of Illusion also does 3% more damage, which increases by 10% against enemies with Shields and Temp HP. You can only be a Master of Illusion once every 30 seconds.

add Bonus mount and end game DCs (AA powersharing build) will have 40+ power extra. Means in group with good builded OP, DC has the potential to come close to 300k Pwr. i like the way they nerf our class...
If the "chance" is over 10% then we will have our armageddon...Dots will make it proc it quite fast.
That being said, what else am I gonna do? run CN another gazillion times? So while I may not be grinding to upgrade the lighttender set I'll still want to run SVA/FBI since I have developed a twitch every time someone asks if I can run CN with them...
But as others mentioned, I'm hesitant about "there is a chance"... guess it will depend on how frequently after the 30 sec cd it procs... I'm more interested in fixed guaranteed stats, and as mentioned, anything that counts towards power sharing.
