Are contents of Lockboxes bound to character?

I have noticed that Enchanted Lockboxes can be stacked in the "common" slots of the bank and thus available to all characters on an account.

My question is:
Are the contents of Lockboxes bound to the character opening that lockbox? Or can they be transferred to any character on that account?

    Are you with Arc or Steam? Arc = unbound, Steam might be different... I've heard reports of most Steam ZEN items being bound. Can someone clarify please?

    Arc is unbound. If you purchase zen from steam wallet anything you purchase through the zen market becomes bound. It takes about a week for the the bind to come off. So I recommend for the initial purchase to wait for the bind to come off and then buy what you need through the market.

    Making another purchase at a later time, DOES NOT bind your Zen anymore. Once you have been approved you are golden for any further purchases of Zen through Steam..

    Just throwing an fyi out there that companion upgrade tokens received from packs are not sharable within your account. Many have asked for them to be so, but, just so you're aware of opening companion packs on the character that can use the tokens.
    Love yourself, and focus on the rest of the madness of life later.
