So, I've been trying to find the best way to utilize the Combat Advantage damage and I'd appreciate both theories and actual statistical data on this particular topic if someone's willing to share and/or explain in-detail.
The way I see the Blink Dog and Intellect Devourer combo and the way I understood it is not adding to my calculations, which is why I think there's a bug of sorts, if not - them I'm plainly wrong.
So, without further ado, please tell me how's the CHA applied in terms of Crit and in terms of CA damage?
I reckon that the 25CHA is actual 15% Critical Chance and 15 % Combat Advantage which work sort of like a teeter toter per strike.
1st Question is, am I wrong to assume that it works that way? When Critical Chance is applied, you do not get the extra 15% Combat Advantage, correct?
2nd question is, are any of the Combat Advantage boons broken currently or is it just that the profile info is not showing the extra CA percentage (which is bad)? Anyone having a similar problem?
And ultimately my 3rd question is - what's the maximum potential CA damage and whether it gets applied both to the Critical Strike (the little lightning
) and the Regular Combat Advantage damage (little sword
)
I'm pretty sure that I saw it being applied twice in the single hit on a single enemy, once in an actual Critical Strike and once additionally as a Combat Advantage damage. No proc or anything similar, so I'm trying to pinpoint this particular feature game-wise.
The formula I'm wondering is 1 x Sudden Storm on 1 x enemy = (
+
) +
??
In numbers : (100.000 + 25.000) + 25.000 = 125.000crit + 25.000ca Sudden Storm hit?
Thanks

there is also one on the renegade path to increase crit for allies as well ... might be altering damage results or spiking them as well ...
Due to the time my job takes away from my daily life, I'm in no position to meddle with the statistics, though. I guess someone will eventually explain it in-detail. Anything helps, really. :}
Another nice addition to it is the speed possibility and the ability to kill 2 groups of enemies since the CA bonus is applied over a very long distance with ST tabbed.
It's very useful for the huge amount of enemies when Renegade isn't around.
I'm pretty sure that I had both Crit and CA at the same time from a single use of Sudden Storm.
@c1k4ml3kc3 - Would love to know more about your findings.
