Zen Sale

It seems as if the Zen sale is only available to PC players and not console players. Everytime I try to purchase zen via the charge page and I select Neverwinter I a get a message stating I must complete all quest in Blacklake District. So why say the sale is available to all players when its not. I do not own Neverwinter on PC, I own it on XB1.

    I am not going to download it on PC, when I have it on XB1. Its the miscommunication by Arc. They say its available to everyone but purchasing it through the website is only for PC. Not XB1 or PS4. That is false advertising to the community. To only be available to PC players but advertise "EVERYONE"

    They usually do a Zen discount on Xbox via the store as there does not seem to be a true link between the forum and websites to the console side of the game.

    The discounted Zen on XB1 is available through the Zen Market ingame. The PC website would be for PC, wouldn't it?

    Zen sale is part of Xbox "Countdown sale". I believe it will be a daily deal sometime between 12/22 and 12/31.
    15% off if you were wondering.

    Crazy thing is, earlier today I saw neverwinter listed on the Major Nelson blog with the 15% off countdown deal, which is why I made the above post..
    Just looked again, and it's not on there anymore.

    Maybe I shouldve prefaced my initial reply with "I've been awake for over 24 hours".
    I really do believe I saw that information on majornelson. Wasn't planning on buying zen, but i hope it happens now as part of that the countdown sale, because that likely means I'm not losing my mind, and it was actually announced there for a brief period.

    I just think it's a little unfair... console players get 15 to 20% off on certain zen store items. PC gets 50% ?!

    I went to buy the Feywild Pack only to find it's not for us playing on consoles... it kinda really upset me. Like are we lesser players? Do we not deserve the same discounts a as PC players? Why such a huge difference in the discounts. It kinda puts me off spending more money on this game... feel like I'm getting shafted because I chose the Xbox platform...

    Same with the Zen purchase bonus... I might be being whiny but all I want for Christmas is a fair/equal bonus and equal discounts... all platforms matter. Discount equality for all. Lol

    As much as we would like to see platform parity...just not going to happen. Every platform has their respective economy pros and cons and as such...has to be handled differently from one another. For example the PC community had a severe backlog in the ADX and as result, a more discounted Zen is needed.

    Just my opinion...and I can be wrong, but it helps explain why one platform does things slightly differently.

    You are in fact wrong, the reason we get different sales is because the respective Console companies have to take a cut on the sales. Therefore, if they give us a 50% sale, they get 50% less than the lesser amount they're already getting.

    Microsoft and Sony are in charge of their sales to an extent. They have to approve them in advance.

    I understand that but it's not fair to the players... the entire reason they have a profitable game to begin with is the players. Without players, there's no profit, they lose their entire game...

    I understand they'd be taking a hit financially but then don't advertise the sale on the main page of the Neverwinter arc site as if it's available to everyone... I know I'm being whiny and I apologize...

    Honestly I just really wanted the pack, and was really excited it was finally a reasonable price, then it wasn't for my platform so I got upset. Lol. I can hear my inner five year old whining as I read that back... but still it's upsetting.
