Normal Shadowclad (lvl 8) bugged

wirioswirios Member Posts: 7 Arc User
Hi, i'm using an armor enchant of Shadowclad in normal (lvl 8) and unfortunately, it didn't really work.
In fact, out of battle i'm at 19.7% Deflect and when i'm hit the enchant stack as it must but don't do it great cause when it had all the stacks i'm must have reached 68% of Deflect and i reach only 23%.
So i would like to know how to fix it.
Let me know if u need more and sorry if my english is bad . :)

Shadowclad not giving fixed value of deflect chance. Maybe tooltip of enchantment in your language misleading. Shadowclad grants increased rating per stack, it means that this increasing your deflect stat so basically it's WAI.

Sorry but i don't get it. What's the difference between "rating" and "chance" ? Can you explain me a little bit more about it pls ?

Rating is the "raw" stat number you get from equipment/enchant. i.e. Power/Defense/Critical Strike/Deflection/Recovery/etc. Those are in the first section - section title is Ratings in the english version - of Character sheet right below the ILv/Experience.
    Chance is the derived stat from your ratings/ability scores/feats/buffs/etc. I.e. Damage Resistance/Critical Chance/Deflection Chance/Recharge Speed Increase/etc.

The description of the lesser version:

When receiving damage each hit adds 4% to your Deflection rating for 5 seconds. This effect can stack a maximum of 8 times and expires when you successfully Deflect.

It gives 4% of your deflect number. If your deflect is 1000, you will have 1040 deflect number when it proc.

Edit: [got distracted before I hit the post button an hour later]

The more deflect your gear provides, the more deflect you can get. However, you need to get full hit and fail to deflect to get the bonus. More hit that are not deflected you receive, the better the bonus. Not sure this is always a good thing. You want to have better deflect so that you get less damage but in order to do so, you need to get full hit. So, catch-22.
