Now we all know how "good" the shadow demon is in world pvp. Apparently theres some other abuse that seems to be very popular among the icewind pass pros. Saw people getting worse than "one shot" including myself and took a look at the combat log. Goes something like " John Doe hits you for 5k with The Darkness". 25+ ticks of this "The Darkness" in one second. So my question is what is causing this?

    I could explain it, but it's an exploit, and doing so would likely end in my post, or the entire thread, being sendt to the lower depths, or deleted.
    The shadow demon is not working as intended, let's just leave it at that.
    Also: "Pro's" don't use shadow demon, owlbear cub or drains in IWD. "Pro's" take that <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> off before entering.

    Thanks for verifying that it is indeed an exploit. The usual suspects were all using this not a least bit surprised. Whats the point of enforcing these "dont mention exploits" rules if they never hotfix stuff. Everyone and their grandmother starts exploiting and it becomes common knowledge in a day or two.

    SINCE october did my last black ice domination i remember very well infatile compensation is the name of the power of the owlbear is not piercing damage. WE can check it together and now to see that is not piercing damage if you want.

    The darkness in your combat log is the enemies shadow demon proc. Its only supposed to hit you ONCE but its broken.
    Find me in game if you want and send me a domination/ gaunt invite. If you are good and im not busy ill play with you. Im not an elitist ill play with almost anyone.
