OK I can finally connect to the game but now i'm getting an 18gb patch is this happening to anyone else ?

    Not since I installed the preview client :hushed:

    You've possibly clicked on Mimic or Owlbear server button by mistake which will download the client for them.

    Nope it set to main server still downloading ...oh well

    Sounds like it's lost the Allocation header. I'd do a diskcheck and /scannow too, may be a sign of another issue with your HDD rather than the client.
