Can we change a toon's sex?

Is it possible to change the sex of a character? My girlfriend created a character, but doesn't play it anymore. Now, I have been playing it but wanted to change appearance and sex.

    You would have to get a Race Reroll token, I believe. There are appearance change tokens, but I don't believe they can change the gender of your character.

    I tried appearance change at the Tower of Alteration and it didnt allow for gender changes. You will have to buy the Race re-roll to swap gender (2000 zen on PS4)
