Iron Vanguard Swordmaster help

I'm going for the tankiness of a GWF combined with the swordmaster power build. I'm also thinking of taking the first column of Sentinel and the top part of the second column. Pretty much I'm going for a solo survivability farm toon. Anyone have any suggestions I can use to make this work?

    I've already taken the heroic feats for defense and increasing the effectiveness of my constitution score

    Con isn't an effective stat in PvE as you get enough RI% from your gear alone and the extra hp only effects your base HP which is equal to maybe 3k HP. So adding the 15% from the Heroic feat is even less appealing.

    Con is good for PvP because RI% needs to be very high in order to even scratch your opponents through all those layers of mitigation.

    The Defense heroic feat, Armor Specialization, is good for a bit more resistance as long as you went Human and have the 3 extra points or going PvP and don't care about crit. Otherwise ditch it and go for crit chance and crit severity

    If you are looking to go Off-Tank, go with all azures in your defense slots and take all the defensive boons along the way. Also take Countless Scars and T Negation. Get your LS up to 15%. When your crit chance is high enough switch out Weapon Master for Bravery for extra deflection and run speed. People will tell you none of this is worth it in PvE because everything can 1 shot you... This is false. This is the build I run so I know from experience. I use a couple other tricks and enchants but this is my bread and butter. I am the last one to fall in combat and I still sit at top DPS unless running with a glass cannon GWF/SW and even then we are neck and neck the entire run.

    Many people have not used iron vanguard since the huge nerf to it in mod 4. Prior to that it was a great cc utility. Right now the only real viable path is exe,, sword master.. sadly. They have done a really poor job allowing diversity in the class.

    IV is better for PvP, SM is generally better for PvE and can still be variable in PvP
