New changes to hr < pvp >

Not sure what happened to pvp section but i cant find it.
I like to know why some of hr's encounter powers ignores tenacity like tr's dunk.
My sw has 3.6k tenacity and high deflect/defense using trans fey and negation and still get melted like i have 0 tenacity.
This is not only sw, i see this happening to many other classes too.

    it's here: arcgames.com/en/forums/neverwinter/#/categories/pvp-discussion-pc

The HR (like the TR) does some piercing damage which ignores both DR and Tenacity. These are the only 2 classes that can do piercing damage and yes it is patently unfair in pvp.

A lot of people call for nerfs on these classes which isn't needed at all - Cryptic just need to make Tenacity apply to piercing damage.

Thank you for the information. No class should be nerfed because of pvp but yeh, tenacity should apply to piercing damage because whats the point of stacking tenacity if it is getting ignored by some classes.

Idk about the HR but there is a fairly specific set of feats needed to be a dunk TR which while potentially still a viable build in PvE, sort of fine tunes the TR for only PvP. Luckily the TR skill is a daily so just don the AP drains and keep them off of you.

All of a sudden the complainers emerge for piercing damage lol

I see you have an HR. People that benefit from an unbalanced aspect always defend it regardless of the impact on game balance or whether it impacts how many people participate in pvp.

When does the bonus apply on the HR?
One is extra damage equal to the weapon damage as piercing, so no bonuses from power or stats etc, so thats a fairly fixed figure. But the other (melee) is unclear.
With TR's Shadow of Demise the piercing damage is calculated against the damage that has already been mitigated, so to mitigate it further would simply make it damage. But if Piercing Blade calculates based on normal damage BEFORE DR, Tenacity, etc then there is an argument to probably either reduce it, or have it calculate off post mitigated damage.
