the appearance is that of getting booted for another player, though that may not be the case. I know in other games high paying players got the best servers while lower paying players were move off.
Cause the game is so much fun, obviously. If it's not off line. And tbh, it's generally not *that* often. Well, might have been in the last week or so, but was not bad before that.
Some additional observations to the outage I did: 1. Before the disconnetion I tried to switch to another instance (of Dread Ring) and all available instances, save perhaps two, were at the 40 toons limit. Unfortunately I didn't count the number of instances. 2. I had no problem whatsoever to log in into Star Trek. Also from Cryptic.
Conclusion from my experience: There was something fishy with the NW shards this time. They probably had to emergency restart the whole infrastructure. Afterwards it was stable for hours.
At least you have not had folks intentionally ddosing the servers for days at a time..yet, or maybe before i started playing on ps4. Xbox had that happen multiple times last yeae.
We were off line for almost the entire xmas season last year. Or was it the year before last? How about that! Sony did compensate, though. We got a few days free of PSN+.

They will likely refuse to compensate for VIP keys lost (i see they refused other people)
The game constantly crashes. Glitches.
Why do we play?
