Muting

So sometimes when I queue up with randoms for dungeons like castle never I notice that someone is muted and I go to Unmute them and it says that they are muted from their Xbox profiles but everytime I go to their profile they aren't muted. It's not a big deal I'm just wondering if anyone knows how to make it stop randomly muting people

    I don't know how to do that but I have the opposite issue where I'd like to mute everyone by default :p

    I've not used my headset yet with NWO. It seems most people just seem to broadcast domestic arguments, crying babies, and one French guy who seemed to be auditioning to be a Spanish football commentator, "GOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLLL!!!!!" after every kill...

    Unfortunately, you don't need a headset on to hear all the background noise from people in your group.

    Oh, I know... but I would probably find myself in trouble if I put myself in a position where I could say something to them.
    My old mum used to say "if you can't say something nice, say nothing"...
    So in this game, I say nothing.

    Hence my previous comment - I want a 'mute all by default' with the option to unmute for selected individuals or parties...

    Luckily for Xbox players this is build into the console.

    seriously sometimes i dont understand certain players, they keep swearing while they are playing but no one is actually chatting with him, babies crying, eating, ppl arguing, mother scolding, music & some sound like they chew on mic. do these player uses a headphone or they have a kinect didnt know they have to mute it? or they are just nice trying to share every sound they could ? lol

    I think the Xbox One's mics are kinda oversensitive, they at least are more sensitive than the 360 ones, sometimes I just plug mine in, mute it and play without it so I don't listen anyone and can still hear the game.

    On a related note. All of my chat seems to have gone away. I am not getting any messages, including the usual Protector's Enclave spam. Any ideas?

    Lucky...except I can't do Guild/Alliance/Zone/Area chat.
