Hi. I've started playing NW back at mod 4 and 5, on the same PC and I remember I was able to play on max settings at a smooth framerate. Now I have returned to the game after a long break, and the first thing that I noticed was a really low fps.
I have checked it on several maps at LOWEST possible settings: from around 60 at smallest, single player instances, throughout around 45 in Well of Dragons (probably the highest fps of all regular maps), to a ridicoulus amount of 12 fps in empty(!) Stronghold map.
But these are extremes - on average, in a regular map with some players I get around 25 fps, again, on LOWEST settings. I'm sure it wasn't like that 5 mods ago. I can run games like Witcher 3 on high settings at stable 60 fps, so that's only NW issue. I have already tried reinstalling the game, updating drivers, messing with HUD and several options - nothing helped.
My PC configuration is:
-Windows 8.1
-Nvidia GTX 780
-AMD FX-6300 (six core, 3.5 GHz)
-8 GB RAM

I did find a work around for myself. If I boot my PC and start Neverwinter immediately without doing anything else, the game runs fine. If I close out of Neverwinter and back in I get about 12 FPS. If I boot my PC up, launch chrome, browse a few websites, and then play Neverwinter, I get 12 FPS. Not sure what is going on.
