No drops from Greater Dragon's Hoard Enchantments?

Hi,

So today I upgraded my fifth dragon's hoard enchantment to greater (I upgraded all of these to rank 10 during this 2x refinement event) in the morning and logged out. At lunch time, I decided to play a bit and noted I am not getting any drops from these enchantments anymore; I played for about 25 minutes and I received not one single drop.

Are these enchantments buggy and just not worth having all of them at rank 10 or higher?

You are not guaranteed a drop, whether its a Rank 10 Dragon Hoard or a Rank 12 Dragon Hoard. Maybe you just need to play longer and kill more ads. I have 2 Rank 10's and 2 Rank 12's on my Toon, and I get drops quite a lot.

everything works fine; perhaps you should get at least 10% to utilize cooldown periods.

@asjohnson#4476, I used to get a lot of drops with all five enchants on rank 9, and now I am not getting anything after having upgraded them to rank 10. Makes no sense; I know how often I get drops based on how many mobs I kill on a certain period. Twenty-five minutes of constant mobs wipe (my toon is a GWF) and no drops is just the opposite of what I have been getting.

@someonedies, I increased my overall drop chance from 10% to 15% with the upgrades.

All I can say is keep trying. As mentioned, I have had no problem with mine, so its just you having bad luck it seems.

On a similar, but separate, note...get a mount you can get Wanderers Fortune on, it will help a good bit too.

You only get s certain amount of drops per 'day' and dragon hoards will slow down, to maximise your gains you should run a combination of dragon hoards, fey blessings and have a mount with wonderous fortune.

I know, but I got no drops starting the day, not after hours of playing. Anyway, I restarted my Xbox completely, and now I am starting to get drops again. I will see if it improves (cause I don't play for hours every day), and if it doesn't then I will switch a couple of these to feys.

It might be that you were still on the previous "day", and the cooldown was still active?

Still, they really should set the actual cooldowns and limits in the tool-tip in all enchants, not just "a chance" and whatnot...

Could be. Yesterday night I finally noticed the difference and started getting more drops than when I had my enchants at rank 9, so I am happy it is working now.

Regarding the tool-tip, I agree with you. I wonder what the max number of drops one is allowed per day.

Regarding the tool-tip, I agree with you. I wonder what the max number of drops one is allowed per day.

I do not think it is a max amount of drops but rather a max amount of RP, some days I get loads of resonance stones and peridots, then next day i get far fewer of those but I get a black opal or 2 and maybe a sapphire.

Good point. I will try and keep track of my drops to see if I can come up with a number.
