In M10 GF Iron Vanguard (IV) is still weaker, then GF Sword Master (SM). In all ways. SM have some perfect passive skills, like steel defence and steel grace. Steel defence makes SM GF able to stay alive even in critical situations, and steel grace increase damage, deflexion and speed. and what we have in Iron Vanguard way? Ferocious Reaction and Trample the Fallen? They are not even close to SM skills. So, I'm sure, that most of the GF plays as SM, becouse we have no alternative. It seems to me, that Iron Vanguard Way need to be more stout and strong. For example, if SM deals more damage, let Iron Vanguard be more stout against incoming damage. Give him more self-healing or temporary HP. Not a secret, that now GF is much more weak in survial, then paladin. Maybe Iron Vanguard can be the way for best survival for GF (and for GWF also)? What do you think?

However, in PvP GF SM's face a large disadvantage against IV GFs. Everything has it's place.

What are you talking about? As far as I know, most of PVP GF's prefer Sword Master, because of Steel grace and Crescendo.
Ferocious Reaction and Indomitable being a couple of examples, the CC on Indomitable is far more satisfying than Crescendo. Also, if you are IV Steel Blitz is more than a viable option now, it just depends on playstyle.
I played with a couple of low level IV's for PvP transmutes over the Solo Queue event and they were a lot easier to play than an SM of a higher level.
