it drops on tiamant, go to well of dragons, player call for players for tiamant, gl
I got one from a mob in old CN xD The very first pull int he instance. Saw a screen of some1 getting it from a foundry quest heh. But yeah tiamat/proff packs. Tymora event used to drop it like candies but that got nerfed.
You say they are expensive? They are about 15k/ea right now. They used to be a lot more.
I'm probably HAMSTER someones business model right now, but they should be no more than the cost of a mechanical altar. If you buy Mechanical Altars (10k for 10 on the AH right now), and you only use it when doing your last invoke, you get 5 bags and 1 Dragon Egg, No RNG involved. So, about 1K per egg.

15k each dragon egg + 2 elemental aggregate(4k each)=23k, you sell an adamant ring at 43k, your net income is 20k if you manage to make one gemmed
If you craft 3 rings at a time, total cost is 23k x 3= 69k, to be able to profit you would have to craft 2 gemmed out of the 3
If you only craft one gemmed you lose 63k - 43k= 20k
Relax, I didn't say you were wildly wrong. Just that they used to be 3-4x the current price.
Also, it might be more correct to say that the *risk* of making gemmed rings can be expensive. And an 87% profit isn't bad, considering the risk. I wonder what is considered 'worth it' these days?
Finally, if you can get the Mechanical Altars going, your profit just went up, and your loss on *only* crafting one ring went down. Enjoy!
Isn't the profit margin a bit better on level 70 shirts and pants? They seem to sell for 80K-200K, depending on the type of shirt/pants. And while you lose a slot for a few days, it seems better to make the aggregate than buy it if you are pinching pennies.
I do like the business model suggestion though--I wondered what to do with those mechanical altars.

Theres no problem with pants and shirts: unified element 25k + dragon egg 13k= 38k, you craft 3= 114k If you manage to sell 1 at 100k its fine (they are at 80k now but it goes up.)
ITs kind of cool but you need to invest more money and I dont have the assets
But im going to try it out and buy them, lets see!

Dr Ray Stantz: It's a girl. Dr. Egon Spengler: It's Gozer. Winston Zeddemore: I thought Gozer was a man. Dr. Egon Spengler: It's whatever it wants to be. Dr. Peter Venkman: Well, whatever it is, it's gotta get by us. Dr Ray Stantz: Right! [pause] Dr. Peter Venkman: Go get her, Ray!
Tiamat is whatever it wants to be.
I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.
