Dread vs Vorpal for CW

I've read a lot of discussion about these, but nothing to really make a great case either way. I'd like to hear recent opinion's, especially from any of the PC theory crafters.

In my experience, Dread is better for any DPS class that uses encounters more than at-wills. I.E. SW/HR/CW.

Vorpal tends to be better for melee class, or classes that use at-wills for most of their damage. I.E. GWF/TR. Ask any GWF and they will tell you that most of their damage comes from Sure Strike(an at-will), and a TR will say most of their damage comes from Duelist Flurry(an at-will).

As CW's should be using feats to increase their cool-downs, dread works better for them.

Vorpal works better on single target I find where a large portion of your dps is your daily power and dread works better on trash, which is where encounters shine.

TY all. Fabricant, as usual, has summed up my own experience. Wish there was a better way of testing on XBOne. Back to Vorpal for me

I've had mixed results depending on build, companions, etc.

"You wanting to sell indicates you only care about melting the boss, but don't care if you or your group can get to the boss or not. lol"

I can see how you'd get that idea. However, my experience with trading out stuff has only served to annoy the party that only wants to race through(not my guild mates) I've gotten several nasty comments for a 15 second trade out. I thought I'd pick my best option and go with it

@rryman ...I know right, simple trading 2 of my AoE to single target is painful enough. I can do it in 5 seconds...assuming someone doesn't click the door when I'm in the menu, then I'm frozen.
Anyway...swapping enchantments is ambitious and would be awesome, but would have to swap out constantly at 2.5G each time.

You could always just get a duplicate of the item carrying the enchantments to make swapping cheaper.
