Daily Astral diamonds question

OK first do I need to open the chest at the end of a dungeon to get my astral diamonds the kobal mentions and can I just do the highest level dungeon twice and then a few of the highest level skirmish to get my max diamonds or does it require me to mix it up also do CTA skirmishes offer the mentioned bonus one more thing do epic dungeons count for the daily AD?

    The chest is just for extra rewards but no diamonds. You don't need to do the highest lvl dungeons. I speed run lvl 12 cloak tower. Dungeons and skirmishes have separate ad maxes so do 2 dungeons for dungeon max and then however many skirmishes to max. I have no idea about epic dungeons, haven't run one yet.
