Latest events give out No Winners

I spent so much time and effort into gond and saha event. What I got after 100's of purple tickets and now turning in my dooohickey "which supposedly has high chance of getting a mount," NOTHING! So much time wasted I could have done more productive things I'll never participate in the events again they are so rigged.

    I never have any luck, but I finally got a mount drop on my first doohickey...

    I know some winners. Its luck. some have good luck and some bad. Do people complain on a forum when they buy a lottery ticket but lose?

    Buying a lottery ticket takes 5 seconds and costs a dollar. The chances of winning are 1 in 160 million. These events require tons of real life time and often real life money. My post is just out of frustration obviously however I do feel that we should receive something when one does that much work not the chance of winning something.

    When I buy lottery tickets I buy bingo or battleship or something like that. That way even if I lose I got a few minutes of entertainment for my money...

    wonder of gond is one of those event that comes back a few times in a year, seeing that 2x RP is around the corner the easier way to get them done would be saving up all those stuff for 2x RP then turn them in on next wonder of gond.

    Not that I know of but I know people that will complain out loud when they don't win the lottery.

    Betcha this event will be no different. I guarantee I will not get a behold tank. While I can also guarantee there will be a few dropped for "special guilds", bet .

    By "special guilds" do you mean those that cooperate, organise and band together to get the reward as a group.

    We had many within our guild collecting gromits on last event and donating them to the guild which refined and got to the final stage of refinement. (we decided to sell the Doohickeys to get other things the guild needed instead though)

    Perhaps you need to help your guild/friends and participate with them or find a new guild and or friends.

    As with the lotto example, don't gamble more than you are comfortable losing. If that's time, cash or doohickeys it shouldn't matter.

    Random Number Generators don't give a fiddler's pluck for the time/effort/cash that went into you pressing their "Go!" button.
    Logarithms have no pity.

    (edit to add... I just refined my Beholder artifact to gold, and it took 32 wards to hit my 10% chance. I wasn't best pleased, but I understand how it works. I did then manage to turn three R9 enchantments into 10s for the loss of no wards, however... odds often look inaccurate in small samples, but across the wider range of the entire player base they will even out.)
