Ok guys lets start with this is not an ARC problem.

But reality is my monitor is HAMSTER and goes all fade out when it sees white. which is nomrally ok but the blowing snow storms in the new addition basically blind me. is there a way to turn those off ?

They have adjusted the visuals in the patch, are you still having the same problem?

Dear Support Team, I completely agree with the comment, I have a very nice and powerful Toshiba Laptop where I've played hundreds of hours and for the 1st time in 3 years I had to quit playing the New Game Zones Storm King's, I was blinded and the effort to try to see anything gave me head ache, and I had to quit after 15 mins playing in the zone. There is not even a progressive visibility or perhaps 3 mts ahead but it's completely insufficient to play properly with the appropriate comfort for the vision. Moreover I invest a lot of money in the game and it's a shame to abandon to play a new game zone because insufficient quality of displaying. I complain because I invest and therefore I need to have an appropriate level of end user graphic interface to be satisfied and have FUN above all.

In the other hand, I wanted to thank all the development team after their consequent efforts to create much and better fun for the players.

    Regards

The blizzard effect can be very strong (especially in the first quests, like the epicentre of the storm). I have played with various settings, no luck on decreasing the snow effect, but you can adjust your brightness in the Options -> Display (slider), as well as the Brightness Calibration Screen. Adjust for darker temporarily, and then re-adjust when back in the normal part of the game.

Pain it is, but they have improved the daily visuals, so I suspect they will tweak it a bit more...

I think the right answer is "buy a working monitor newb" but no one has said that too me yet :) . But yea ill try adjusting the display and working with it. Right now i dusted off my gf and went for the 60 to 70 quests while i figure it out.
