I have just unlocked the artefact weapon power for bladestorm(+25% more damage with bladestorn) but when i attack i deal ~3000 weapon damage + ~400 damage by bladestorn . How is this possible when it should be +40% more damage by bladestorm?

Its a 25% damage bonus to blade storms damage. So the 20% damage is increased by 25% (to 25% in total) not added (20% + 25%).

At least I think thats it.

But still how ca it only pro ~400 when i deal 3000 damage i got it on rang 3 atm so it would be 15% that would fit but that would also mean that the artifact power doesnt work.

As I understand it the total with feature and OH class feature should be 45%. The class feature says: The damage dealt by Blade Storm is increased BY 25% not TO 25%.

    20% * 1.25 = 25%

    20% * 1.25 = 25%

How do you get to those numbers? And even if it would be so the damage schould be higher

Most of the artifact weapon skill increases are minor, adding an entire 25% onto a damage bonus maxed at rank 4 of 20% would just be too significant. I'm sure they meant to increase the current dmg bonus by an additinal one fourth (or 25%). so one fourth of 20% is an extra 5%. A 45% dmg bonus for bladestorm would be crazy high.

Basically 25% of 20% is 5%... Thus 20% would increase to 25% if 20% was given a 25% increase.... or something like that, I am poo at maths :)

You are not using it right then.

Blade storm deals more damage the more enemies are around you, if there are 20 enemies around you, you will be dealing double damage, for single target damage, you are gonna deal much much less damage.

I do my own testing and indeed, OH bonus gives you 5% more damage at rank 4, or 3,75% at rank 3.

If you hit for 3k damage, your bladestorm should be dealing 562 damage.

If you wondering how can blade storm deal more damage the more enemies are around you?
    Lemme explain with an example:
Twin blade feat deal a flat 16% more damage, so imagine you deal 10k damage each swing to 50 enemies around you, with Twin blade feat, you will deal 11600 to all 50 enemies, if theres 100 enemies, Twin Blade will deal 11600 damge still.

But with blade storm, each swing has 25% chance to proc 20% damage, so each swing to those 50 enemies around you will proc Blade Storm 12,5 times, that means your blade storm will deal 250% additional damage so (35k) each swing(10k + 25k), if theres 100 enemies your blade storm will deal 500% (10k + 50k) of the attack damage in each swing and so on.
Though most of the times in dungeons and skirmishes there are 5 to 15 enemies around you.
