We need a two handed dpsing pally like the "Retribution pally" off wow but call it like Justice paladin or something i dont know

What you explained is the GWF. They won't change the paladin as it has its roles, which I enjoy. My devotion paladin has so much sustain with modest damage.

We do not need more DPS classes. We need more true support type of classes.

Oddly enough, as the paladins threat generating encounters don't hold threat very well, if you want to hold aggro you need to be able to do decent damage.

Protection Pallys have a 5x threat multiplier so you need to have a dps output that is above 20% of the highest dps'er in your group.

To achieve this you need high Armor Penetration plus a couple of handy things like a trans lightning weapon enchantment and (if you can get one) an owlbear cub augment as one of your companions.

This will have the double effect of holding aggro (i.e. tanking) and dealing decent damage. Clearing solo content is also much faster.

when by your self as a pally you can do great damage with circle of power and aura of solitude you can damn near solo anything but as soon as someone gets near you the damage drops substantially

I haven't come across anything that I can't solo. I heard horror stories about how hard ghost stories and barrow were. Takes about 15 minutes to clear it. I find things take longer to kill when you focus on 1 group. So grab two or three groups, the trash mobs die in no time and just focusing on one of the tougher guys drops the hp of the rest.
