Companion disappears

I have noticed my companion disappears at random when I travel to different areas of the game most of the time its not a issue since I can just summon him again but it does it when u stand in a purple circle just before a boss fight and u can't summon in a fight which makes the fight harder to beat since I use my companion to aggro him.

I have also notice other problems with the game the dragon dailies for example my daily is in neardeath graveyard common cause quest tells me to disrupt the circles but when I go and speak to the guy that gives u the quest for the dragon in the area he gives me gravestones quest instead its done that at all location.

    Which companion is it that is giving you these issues?

    Also - for the common cause issue, you got your quests out of sync with the game. If you do not do the quest on the day you pick up the quest, it causes this issue. You can solve this one by dropping all the Tyranny of Dragons quests for a day, and then picking them all back up tomorrow.

    I've had companions become "dismissed" for no reason for at least a week. I use mercinary on most of my characters, but I'm pretty sure the lillend has done it too.
    I'm confident the issue isn't the companion dying because I've had it at the end of a dungeon, then when I load into new map it's gone, or vice versa.
    I'm also confident it's not the "on your mount, can't see companion" situation.
