There are plenty of campaigns and dungeons that you do along with PvP if you care about that and don't mind getting into games with people who can nearly one shot you due to their gear

You can still enjoy pvp with crappy gear, I do :-) Just a case of concentrating on getting the capture points, or always being in a group of 2 or 3 if you want to actually kill someone
Actually it seems like a bunch of dailies. I'm running out of stuff to do all the time, but I play more than the average I guess.
What's even more annoying is the limit on rough astral diamonds that stays at 36k which I've gone over 100k so it will just keep piling up. Not sure how that's justified. End game is a bunch of timers and limitations for the most part. One terrible example would be the demonic ichor limit of 400 per week when you need to get 1 item that costs 800 (twisted labrys). Not sure about anyone else but I don't think any one item should take 2 weeks to get unless it's immediately legendary or mythic. It's green though, so yeah.

I'm pretty sure the Astral Diamond limit is for 3+ reasons: 1.) Set inflation to a constant that can reasonably be calculated based on active players. 2.) Hinder Currency sellers -- which then helps to reduce spam (including HAMSTER friend request spam). 3.) Help to stabilize the economics of the Zen:Astral Diamond market. 4.) Etc

Nr.5 would be to make people buy more zen(sic!) And as far as end game activities 3 gateway dungeon are broken on release so u can pile up your epic keys until who knows when. i guess u can do demagorgon and, tomb of spider & wolf den but u need 2k+ gear.how u get it u ask since u just hit 70? farm daily q's 4 weeks. oh wait or buy zen and just buy dusk armor.
If you look at it the campaigns are time limited to last awhile. One day of dailys would open up a small amount of the campaign window. As I don't pvp I couldn't tell you if it's a viable or waste of time. Let's see what I do in a day. Demogorgon, demonic heroics for ichor, dailys in dread ring and sharandar and well of dragons. Professions of course. Stronghold heroics if anyone is doing them. Leveling another character to 60 for sigil. And lastly refining anything and everything. Artifact and achieving rank 8 enchants
Yeah refining sucks. Understandable but still sucks. I have close to 1 mil rough AD just waiting to be refine.
The campaigns are just a way to waste time doing 10 daily quests for this guy or that guy. Don't get me wrong they can be interesting but seriously gets boring doing the same ones everyday wish they added variety to it.
I hated pvp for the longest time but last night ran a few got a tripple kill which was just awesome since that pally was annoying. I find it more enjoyable now that I'm 70 with more understanding of all my skills
Another thing that sucks for the most part leveling is way easier than any other mmo I've played, almost to the point where you miss out on alot of trial and error with your class. Last night I tanked my first epic and listening to the others they have been playing since PC. Nobody died went fast I think I did well. I've played ultima,eq,eqoa,wow,eq2 so not a noob to the genre
But I ran a regular skirmish forgot the name where you lose your skills and have to go to the pillars. I died like ten times because I had no clue about that and not one helpful hey go and do this. I know its a pug group but damn.
I haven't joined a guild honestly because I hate those random invites from some guy I never played with or if they had a dumbass name.
Maze Engine, Sharandur, and Dread Ring Run some Epic T1 dungeons (once they are fixed) Get IL up to 2000 Than run Wells of Dragon and Icewind Dale Get IL as high as possible after that and run T2 dungeons.
Have fun, enjoy the game.
I find it interesting watching Sharandur, Dread Ring and the Maze engine where players call out for help and want some one to carry them, heck I even get Ninja Invited to random player groups and than they ask me to carry them. I'm sorry but I used real world money to buy my VIP and that has allowed me to use the trade bars to buy dusk gear and used Zen that was AD and bought the dusk gloves. My IL is higher due to this and having level 8 enchantment from my LB. I can solo all of the above because I have a good build and pay attention to mechanics, even if I don't, my build provides me a nice bonus to take a hit.
When I am not soloing I adjust a few powers and off I go for healing, debuffing, buffing, etc...
If you find you are having a difficulty in any area above that is mainly designed for solo play, gear up. You may need to go back to the last area and grind a bit more to a slightly higher IL.

most good MMOS take months to get fully geared so if your already complaining about running out of things to do.. my sugestion would have to be this might not be your cup of tea as in this one it can be much faster and a single player game would be more in line with what you are looking for

i have no problem with any content dailies throw at me but i still shout out in chat before i do something that i know can be challenging for others because it's quicker and sometimes more fun - and it's nice to help people
That is awesome you are helping out lower level players.
The thing is though, they should finish EE first. I mean it pretty straight forward and linear for progression. From there players IL should be around 1600-1800 and it shouldn't be as hard to progress in other content with that IL compared to running it when a player is level 62 in an area where most players are IL 2K+.
@drathmor#2709 That's funny because I've played a ridiculous amount of mmorpg's (unfortunately) and it's never taken me months to get fully geared. Maybe that's just you.
So after you repeat the same dailies and do the same epic dungeon that's not bugged and grind the same incredibly generic kill x, collect x quests what's left? This game seemed somewhat enjoyable at first but like mentioned before the leveling is way too quick and the endgame is pretty dull. Pretty sad how anyone is able to open their wallet as well and get whatever they wanted in terms of gears, enchantments, mounts, companions, anything really.

They probably should make this clearer. For those who read up and research it's one thing, but the average player probably is eager to take a break from EE and go do some different campaigns.

again if its not something you enjoy you are free to play something else noone is forcing you to play this
and you obviously didnt play WOW at launch or DCUO at launch as it took almost 8 months to hit full end game gear in DCUO all your MMOS must have been after they have been out a while when they make it quicker for the new players. dont feel slighted your not alone with the late adopters

Try to save as much of that refinement as you can and wait for a 2xRP event which shouldn't be too long away for you if they hold true to the money grabbing on PS4 as they have done on Xbox.

Yup and once you play a character from level 1 to 70 and gone through other areas below level 70 you learn from your mistake. I help all my PSN friends or guild mate out but I also tell them the exact order to run stuff. I was with a friend doing all of the EE items and we did those in 2 days or so. I actually enjoyed the level 1-60 stuff and EE stuff. Now that I'm end game I have quite a few things opened up but it is very repetitive and can get boring. It is also why I am not doing Wells of Dragon or IceDale just yet, they will be new areas for me and add to my playing time if I don't rush them. I am first finishing the other campaign items and than I'm going to those areas.
Last night Sharandur I hit 100% but I still have 2 or 3 boons to get, so that will be my focus in that area. Underdark and Dread Ring I run stuff daily and hope to complete them ASAP. Once I'm done with Sharandur I will go over to Wells of the Dragon and start working on that stuff. I will be saving any currency gained for a greater Artifact Neck that I can pick up in the enclave as that item will boost my character up a bit.
Over all the game is pretty big with plenty or areas to explore. If you rush through it you will miss out on some of the details that they put into the game and even some of the mechanics that you will see later on.
Since it only takes me about 2 hours to run through my dailies on my main I started my alt which is going to be a GWF tank. I dislike having a shield and prefer 2H weapon for tanking, so I will have to wait and see how that character operates in end game, but so far I'm having fun leveling her up.

you didn't just compare this game to WoW and DCUO in terms of grind, surely.... surely, you are mistaken.
i was talking DCUO at launch not now it is a totally different game
