So i'm now level 60 and notice the exp is much slower than before I got to level 60. I see that campaign quests are very rewarding, but i'm not able to actually solo any of them?
(I"m trying the Tyranny of Dragons daily in Neverdeath and getting absolutely destroyed by 'trash' mobs) It's raised me to level 70, but the lvl 71 creatures are just wrecking my face. lol
Am I doing something wrong? Do i need to get some gear?
The first quest in Elemental Evil has an amazing mace and armor upgrade but i'm afraid to attempt it lol

However, after a day of doing other 60+ content, learning to avoid attacks (using my bloc on my paladin) and gearing up a bit, I tired it again.
And finished it...only dying once to stupigity of my own.
The trick is that after 60 the REAL game begins, and we have to learn to play it.
DOn't worry...we'll get there.
I am too old, and tired, to think of something witty to put here.

THinking about dropping some bars on the sword/shield to get the bonus damage/defense to maybe 'push' me over the edge a little
Not sure though, i really want to save bars for companions lol
As for the Neverdeath Daily, if you mean Ghost Stories it is really a level 70 quest and almost impossible for most characters to solo at 60. When the game raises your level to 70, it does not improve your equipment or most stats. The mobs, however, do have the equivalent of 70 gear and stats.
As I get closer to 70, and the rest of the campaigns are going to unlock.
Do i pick one and just hammer it until i can't do anymore that day and go to another one?
Do most of them work like Elemental Evil is working?
Do I need to prioritize them?
The Maze Engine unlocks at level 60 and is available from Bruneor Battlehammer in Mantol Derith. You complete a few quests and then you unlock a daily mission. For each quest/daily completed you get resonance stones and a small amount of AD (600). After the first few quests are finished, you get a green companion as a reward and as you proceed through the campaign you get boons and other rewards such as battleranger armour (fashion change).
The Elemental Evil campaign also unlocks at 60 once you complete quests with Minsc and Boo, triggered by speaking to Archdruid Morningdawn in Protectors Enclave and it gives you +115 gear (green and blue). There are quests in four areas to complete : Drowned Shore, Fiery Pit, Reclamation Rock and Spinward Rise. Completion of these quests will reward you with main and off-hand artifact weapons.
The other campaigns - Sharandar, Dread Ring and Icewind Dale - unlock at 70. You need to complete a mini quest to open both the realm of Sharandar and Dread Ring. Both these areas are easier than Icewind Dale and Well of Dragons, but harder than EE as you can't start until you are 70. Sharandar gives you refinement stones for your enchantments and Dread Ring quests reward you with refinement stones for your artefacts. All three also have a mini dungeon, on a weekly reset, which gives you AD (4,500) and refinement stones. Other rewards in all 3 areas are boons and the opportunity to make keys (underdark campaign for example) to unlock special chests in dungeons and skirmishes.
Apart from these, you also have the Dwarven King quest, and the Vault of the Nine Quest. Both of these are available from level 60 and, on completion, you will be rewarded with the Bruenor's Helm artifact (Dwarven King) and a Sigil Artifact (vault). To start the Dwarven King quest, speak to Captain Belgold, between the main gate and Driftwood Tavern in Protectors Enclave. You need to speak to Jarlaxe Benaere in Protectors Enclave (back of the market, near back gate and caravan and Captain Dunmish) to start the Vault quest. The Vault of the Nine is tricky to solo unless you are a Paladin or tank. The Dwarven King quest is made up of 9 small chapters and can be solo'ed although a couple of the chapters are harder than others.
All campaigns give you boons, campaign currency and other rewards so they are all worthwhile doing. However they are also time consuming. I would recommend starting the level 60 ones as soon as you can when you reach 60. At level 70, I would suggest starting Dread Ring and Sharandar and get some boons from there before doing the harder areas such as Icewind Dale and Well of Dragons.
Hope this helps.

Thanks. I love this game but some of the mechanic are a little hard for a newcomer to MMO's. I'm getting there though.
