Greed of Dragonfight and Companions

I have a questions regarding companions in the Greed of Dragonflight. The limit of characters allowed around each dragon is 20 (otherwise it becomes immune). Does anyone know if companions are also counted for this or not?

    Not at all, just make sure your guild splits up into groups less than or equal to 20. :P Simple, no?
