Do you think content is too easy?

This is just my opinion but... If you think content is easy because you have this build or that build or whatever class. The solution is simple. Challenge yourself and change your own build.
-Put a handicap on yourself by not using your Companion with bonding runes.
-Take off a piece or two of armor.
-Maybe store a lvl 12 enchantment in your bank for awhile.
-Take the No armor in a dungeon and don't die challenge for fun.

If your unwilling to do attempt any of these and challenge yourself, then i don't know what to tell you. There are a lot of people out there that are struggling with content as it is. A lot of new people that are struggling to get gear after 70 because the contents Difficulty and armor pen is so ramped up when you transition from 69 to 70 it's ridiculous. The more the maxed out characters cry out for harder and harder content the more the developers will take shortcuts and just NERF everyone. Again this is just an idea and opinion... Feel free to leave some feedback.

I think the content is too hard for characters in the sub 3K IL range and at the same time too easy for the 3.5K and up IL range. It is sort of an odd situation IMO. The players that have been on for a year and have the gear and the game figured out are getting bored while the new players are getting frustrated. That is not a good combination for the longevity of the game.

I think the problem is partly due to the buffs and class balance but the main issue is they need to make dungeons that are doable for the sub 3k players but when you have a team of 3.5k+ then the content is trivial.

A way of adjusting this would be to auto-scale the difficulty according to the total capability of the group..?

For the moment I'm enjoying it. Agreed, if want to challenge yourself go pugs and take your gear and boons off. Not a fan of the elitist mentality. New players coming in may think it is overwhelming up until they can build a "proper" 3k+ relax, and actually enjoy. I speak with a lot of new people bouncing in and out of my party (some can get pretty creepy, some beg for free stuff, some seem to never get what you are saying, and some I don't understand) with the intent of helping them with builds, rotations, etc. I figure the better they all get the better it is for others they run with. I have seen a lot of frustration with the newbies, they add friends and don't see them playing anymore. This has been the case a lot of late. I really hate when they quit after I have helped them with builds, and gear.

I joke "Yeah....your frustrated now.... if you have a nice wallet/purse you can build your toon quick and later go to the forums and complain of how easy the game is, a nerf needs to happen for whatever reason" for now it's a struggle for a few of them. The ones who do last and methodically build seem to complain less, have patience, and respect others more. Just an observation on my end.

    Tc and enjoy

I would hate this, I have always hated scaling. Like Destiny, it never really felt like you could be OP even in the lower tier encounters. I rather wait and see if this new dungeon provides enough challenge for 3.5k +'s. Thats what they need, more dungeons/encounters at a higher difficulty.

Right now we really only have T1 and T2, we need T3 + etc.

The challenge idea is a good one, actually having dungeons with challenges like kill this boss within 2 mins to get extra seals and enchantments or a flawless run will get you more seals......something for the guys running these dungeons with ease. Or have a hard mode you select, mobs hit harder and more aggressive with the rewards being a bit better than the regular dungeon. Problem is with the pally nerf some players are really struggling and being carried through dungeons which isn't fun for most new players. Bondings and guild boons have made characters much stronger which has made the content very easy so as falkenblackhand said, remove enchants, remove companion, lower gear score and challenge yourself

My TR was reduced to an IL of 2.4k (nothing in utility slots) and I was still able to do everything, even the small heroics in dwarven valley solo, its all about build and what makes up that IL. People say woot 3k IL but things are hard and yet they are running 2%,3%+ dragon hoards to get that IL.

I found that the character that I use makes a difference. One struggled with one of the Maze Engine's chapters, the other breezed through it, despite being several levels lower.

Tfw you've got to cripple yourself and remove armor enchants you earned to find a challenge in neverwinter..

Maybe every stat buff in the game (mounts, guilds, insignias, enchants) shouldn't make an individual stronger than an entire 5 man of fresh 70s... Its hard to balance content for both ends of the spectrum if they aren't remotely close stats wise.

Personally i don't understand some people. I have a 3K GWF that follow Lia Knowles build in the rough, obviously i can't have the same item as she have, like legendary companions or rank 12 bonding stones etc. My artifact differ a bit, she changed hers too recently with the orcus set etc, im still to the classic lostmauth obviously. But overall i try to follow a great DPS build and yet i don't do "that much" damage. I feel like i do decent in dungeons, but i never melt anything. I think thats the problem in this game. To be highly performant you have to spend. I have spent 70$ on this game and i feel im done spending especially since lately they had very questionable decisons and im unsatisfied at the attitude of the devs. And at 70 Its like if i paid the game, i consider it even. Maybe, and just maybe, if they release great futur dlc i may spend a bit more since normally i would pay for DLC in other games but thats it.

So what do you get for a 3K GWF? Well i have some rank 11 azures, a few more rank 10, some are still lower, especially in defense slots, companion is mercenary epic, bonding rune stone lev 11, another lev 9 if not mistaken and then a lesser one for third. I got twisted off hand legendary but main hand need 2 more level to legendary. Necklace and belt are just in there 40s epic. And finally exept mythic horn, i have legendary artifacts. Lev 103 to lev 130. I have a 2000 CRIT mount too

One year of playing and very minimal money spend toward tuning, actually i remember 20$ got for a bag and my first month of vip, then i spent again a bit to get a mount at 50% off when maze engine came out. During the sale i spent a bit on keys and stuff. But honestly i didn't really paid a lot toward stuff directly at my char.

And yet 1 year of playing and playing a lot in the day, and i don't feel overpower at all. Actually lately there constant nerfing have made me feel like i upgrade my char only to feel i regressed... not normal after a double refinement and you burn all you had you seem to hit less than before...

But in any case i am still DECENT. But CN ?? Never pugging it, only doing it with pre made groups. GrAY Wolf and ECC still are hard as nail... The other day not only the boss killed our 3k tank but we barely damaged it. I was i think the higher IS for the DPS but still... they where a decent 2.5+

Even ELOL, the other day we did it with very low pugs and my god... thanksfully we knew what to do me and my friend. He was healer, i was on tank (2.6) and it took forever to complete. IS for T1 may be 1600 but you are merely a passanger at this.

Honestly if i didn't had a good guild to carry me in my younger days, along with some tricks that are impossible now and of course bubble pallies, i wouldn't be near where i am now.

So no the content is not too easy. Its only easy for the wallet warriors that paid there way to 4K... simple as that.

I am STRESSED OUT at the new dungeon that is coming out, cause i know it will harde than CN and for CN i am lucky i did the 25 runs achievements when bubble pally was still a thing, I beat it a few time afterward sure but it was usually while joining very high level players in enclave or such. Im lucky at 3K im on the borderline or being inv for those as usually people want 3k for tiamat, edemo and cn. But man life would be hard for a lower level... And that new dungeon, im sure they are again gonna put the unimaginative 25 runs achievements... so that could take a long time for me to get it, so im stressed about it.

Xbox Achievement hunting is one my thing in gaming. And now that microsoft allow devs to put achievement for as long as they want compare to the previous 2000 GS limit on 360. I know for never i have to always keep progressing to remain competitive even if im at 2000/2000 now, cause down the road they will add harder stuff...

You took out the utility slots, that means you still have the 3k performance but with an artificial low item score.

Utility slots should not count towards your item level. Your companion should however count towards your item score (no idea what mechanic to use there but just throwing it out there) as should boons.

Stats + build + good (leveled) companion set + boons >> item level

Unless I am mistaken you are actually hurting your DPS using the companion with low level bonding stones on it, you need all 11's but then again I think this got nerfed/patched or will be.

Augment companion all the way for me.
