Dungeons queues and how do they work?

Do they just grab 5 people?
Does it try to make a balanced group?

I ask, as I don't know anyone who is playing this game, and I love to play tanks or healers, but I don't want to be 'left alone' when it comes to getting into dungeons.

I'm also very skeptical of randomly joining guilds as they advertise in public channels (speaking of which how do i use the chat interface on ps4 lol)

anyway, any information you can give would be awesome.

I'm currently lvl 25 on a OP, but want to try GF and DC (probably GF lol) so, i'm going to start leveling one.

    regular dungeons being 3 man, they just grab 3 random people

    epic dungeons are 5 man, and they require 3 dps a tank and a healer, so the queue tries to pin a group together based on that

    unfortunately, the tanks dont always realise they are tanks (or know how to) and the healers dont always realise they are healers

    tried doing lostmauth's last night and it was brutal because most of the players didnt know what they are doing

    For the chat, it's L1+Down Arrow (D-pad) notice that you can customize each tab to display only specific channels and you can rename it as well. Took me a while to figure it out although it does say options (or was it customize?) there.

    If you have the PS companion app (mobile or tablet) you can then open chat, hit Square [ ] to enter value, then use the app as keyboard instead of having to scroll to each letter. Alternatively, use a keyboard :#

    You get a quest telling you to delve a leveling dungeon. You can also check your queue every once in a while to see if you have unlocked a new dungeon. Epic dungeons get unlocked at lvl 70, but they require a minimum item level.
