Summer Festival - Looking For Answers / or Explanation

But.. why is it that when there is an event like this/or anything along these lines of getting something rare/exclusive/Legendary, it's always(usually) the higher up guilds and/or players that are able to get these rewards so easily?? Even in Community Giveaway, it usually tends to be the same people getting these exclusive mounts..

It's amazing really how some of these higher guilds and players can easily spend less than 10 Mithral tickets and get legendary mounts? while some of us, who have done it the LEGIT way will spend 100+ Mithral Tickets and not get a single one.(not saying that weren't doing it legit). I understand that this game, Neverwinter is based off of RNG, but how RNG can a game really be if it's usually the same people getting the better rewards? It like the rich stay rich and keep getting rich while the poor stay poor.

I'm asking cause there was a player that was bragging from LGPG (don't mean to call your guild out, but it's starting to frustrate me a lot) about the mount(s) he got and it got me thinking how often do these people get the rewards that us lower guys struggle to get? Idk if it was a troll, but this has happened on plenty of occasions and frankly i'm starting to think that they can get whatever they want cause they "know people" <---(what he said in game to me) and correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't that a form of cheating or a breaking of the ToS getting free items from whoever runs the game without having to actually play the game?

With this whole Summer Festival dilemma going on, i honestly don't know what to do. I can't even buy Zen to get balls(seeing that's the only way now) and i can barley even get into a dungeon anymore to earn AD to refine and convert to Zen because everyone is either not playing the game anymore, or they're on this "#ZenStrike" i've been seeing on Twitter. so i feel like i'm stuck in a paradox. i just really want some answers..

How are we suppose to get these rewards? What is the actually ratio on earning any of the rewards from Mithral Tickets? Is this event worth spending the money on, anymore? and why is it that when there is a way for us to farm something a lot easier, faster, and simpler, it is fixed within hours but they can't fix previous bugs that stop people from doing certain things to progress in their game?

Once again I hope to get some answers or atleast some form of explanation from a Mod, or a Developer or even anyone that has tested the tickets just to test and give us some information. Because i don't want to feel like i'm basically handing over my wallet to these people in hopes of earning something that i will probabaly never get.

Anyways thanks!

because they are the ones with the highest visibility. RNG is RNG, there is nothing to explain.

If the odds are 1 in a thousand and 150 members of a guild participate, odds would favor(not guarantee) that one of those members would get the reward within 6-7 attempts. They do it hundreds of times, so you figure it out. You are comparing your single results against the results of a large group. It;s not like every member had that luck.

They will never state the actual odds. I suspect that the odds are closer to one in ten thousand for the legendary.

No, its not worth it to waste your money on Zen ticket balls. Balls have a chance to have a chance to grant a legendary and you cant even choose which one you want, you cant sell the junk either.
Your chance to win a legendary is probably 100 times better if you keep opening up resurgence lockboxes, best thing is: you can sell all that junk for some AD back, choose the legendary you want and each lockbox has a guaranteed chance rather than a chance to have a chance.

The legendary drop rate is likely to be the same ratio as the chance from the lockbox which is very low, yet people get those as well. It's all about volume and luck. If you turn in 2000 Mithral tickets and still have no legendary, you have bad luck, I believe the drop rate to be around 0.05%

Simply knowing people does not make your RNG better...trust me!

hehe... If it T'was me your talking about, it's because Ive been after my Tenser's for quite sometime, and litterally grind all day to reach it. c: Since I choose to spent $0 un-like others and it being my first Legendary mount, as well as my wanted one, I think I would have alittle right to... cx In da ends of days, its still RNG~<3

As for dungeons, skirmishes, just run 3min Shores, Elol, n' CN. ^-^ Works fine. For the event, idk what to say about it anymore tbh. It is worth the Zen, but not worth my time or my (normal) RNG chances. : p

I was guessing something very close before the server reset on Friday.

Say over a thousand mith tickets from different people produce 1 mount. Course the one guy who got one did it in just over 100 tickets.

It's funny to me that when something doesn't seem to go thier way...it's someone else's fault. Its the company with the bright colored boxes or the company with the purple ball that did this to me.

When I go to the casino...and I do go regularly, I don't get salty when I don't win. Why would you? After all...it IS the same. I strikes me you would rather get mad at the winners for cheating, because if they won something you didn't...it must have been an exploit or must have been in a particular guild

    ...just utter and complete nonsense.

casinos are REGULATED and are required to give a guaranteed chance of winning. Cryptic just defrauds its players.

We can agree that any game that allows for RNG based prizes with real money...Should be regulated, but you cant post that Cryptic must be fraudulent simply because you didn't win. Clearly there are winners, they have posted here.

Next time you want to play victim to the system...remember it was your choice to be apart of the event.

Regulation guarantees that there must be winners not that YOU must be the winner. As far as defrauding goes, I agree that there have been moments of fraudulent acts but this event, while completely a cash grab, is anything but fraudulent.
