Any TR's tried out the Orcus set?

Thoughts? I currently still use the Lostmauth set and I've never had a problem with it even after the nerf. Any benefit or reason to go to Orcus?

    Yes indeed. It's hard to say, as I bumped some other items when I made the switch (and handed the Horn in), but there is definitely some increase. I don't think it was worth the grind/AD to get the set, though. I wish I'd spent the time on enchants etc, but if you're BiS then it's worth it imho.

    anyone switch out the belt with a straight strength belt and compared?

    Also it's worth noting that you have a big drop in arm pen when you switch. So if you're currently optimized, like I was, you may find it difficult to balance again.

    As above, probably worth sticking with Lostmouth set.

    Lostmauth accounted for about 2% of my overall dps (MI exe). After upgrading the orcus set fully, I have seen a roughly 10% increase in DPS. It's difficult to get hard numbers on it because it doesn't show up individually in ACT, but I have seen a good noticeable increase in DPS from switching to the orcus set. There wasn't any ambiguity when I switched. Just my .02.

    You do have to switch some artifacts and equipment around to account for the changes in stats switching from lostmauth to orcus, however.

    Also, in regard to my previous post, a buddy of mine hooked me up with a T. DREAD. I'll be testing over the weekend.

    I deleted it...:( (booo on me!) I burned my lostmauth equipment already, too. That's the only way to test as it doesn't show up as an individual stat in ACT. But, I'm telling you, in PVE, orcus is better. I actually switched to a greater dex belt and gave up on the Lostmauth set, and found that to be better. But, Orcus set, combined with all the feats Execs have to burn bosses after they get down below 40% + Archons and it gets really really nasty.

    I am a PVE build, so it may be different in PVP. Also, since you are a whisperknife, it may be different. Dread might work better for you, but since most of my damage as a mi exe comes from at wills, I didn't find the dread enchantment all that great for TRs.
